This cutesy duo first met during a swimming event in Jaipur a decade ago. This beautiful actress also has an interest in swimming, which is what clicked between the two of them. Talking about her ‘Prince Charming’ in an interview lately, Pooja gushed:
"He is a simple guy and what I love best about him is his honesty. He had proposed to me a long time ago, but it got formalised from our parents' side only a few days back."

In addition to this, the actress who is soon going to be the wife of a sportsman would like to balance her acting career with her love for swimming. Here’s what she was quoted as saying:
"I would like to be more involved in swimming along with acting. There is a lot to do for sports in our country.”

“Since Sandeep is a Jat and I am a Bengali, we are planning to include customs from both the cultures in our shaadi. That will keep both the families happy.”
