The journey of being a mother starts when you first feel the flutter and you count months, days, hours and minutes until you hold your little one in your arms. From 'Netflix and chill', a couple starts exploring interactive books for the kids, their high-tech gadgets get replaced by baby toys and cradle, their minimalistic home turns into riots of colour and that's the start of their parenthood journey. And television actress, Puja Banerjee and her hubby, Kunal Verma are all ready for their crazy parenthood journey ahead as they have welcomed their first baby. Before we take you further into the story, let us take a look at their love story. Puja and Kunal were going to tie the knot on April 15, 2020. But with the coronavirus outbreak and the lockdown, the duo had cancelled all their ceremonies. But on the same day, Puja and Kunal had shared the news of their registered marriage, which had happened a month-and-a-half ago.
On October 9, 2020, Puja and Kunal hopped on the crazy journey of parenthood. The duo is blessed with a baby boy. The baby was born a few hours ago in a suburban nursing home. In an interview with The Times of India, Kunal shared his joy and said, "Puja and I are proud and extremely happy to share that we are parents of a lovely baby boy today. I was with Puja in the operation theatre, while she delivered our baby. Both Puja and the baby are doing fine and I am extremely thankful to God for his blessings."
In September, Puja had a baby shower and she had shared the pictures of the same on her Instagram handle. Alongside it, she had expressed her happines and had written, "I can't express my feelings in words as I am overwhelmed with all the love each and everyone showered yesterday for my 1st baby shower. On August 15, 2020, Puja had shared the first pictures, flaunting her baby bump with her darling hubby, Kunal. She had posted the pictures on her IG handle, and had captioned them as "A big thank you to @nikhilapalat and @tajlandsend for this #staycation and all the pampering as it was much needed to me especially in this time."
Earlier, in an interview with the Bombay Times, Puja had talked about quitting work because of her pregnancy. She had said, "I would have continued working even during pregnancy, but due to the pandemic, I felt that it was important to take precautions and stay at home. I plan to get back to work by next year and hopefully, the pandemic will be over by then."
