Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma’s traditional wedding is finally happening after a long wait of years. After dating for 9 years, and exchanging rings in 2017, they had plans to tie the knot in April 2020, as per Bengali rituals, but the pandemic had ruined it for them. Later, in April 2020, the couple had announced that they already had a court marriage in February 2020. However, Puja always wanted to have a traditional wedding, which is finally happening.
A few days back, Puja Banerjee had headed off to Goa with her son, Krishiv. Taking to her IG stories, Puja had shared a few pictures from the bride-to-be’s travel to Goa with her son and friend, RJ Malishka. In one picture, Krishiv had looked stunned, sitting with the luggage, and in one video, Malishka and Krishiv were seen dancing together. In one of the pictures, Puja, Krishiv and Malishka were seen on a flight and atop it, the RJ had written:
“This flight has the bride-to-be on her way to her phera wali shaadi!! Live long, love long, and prosper @banerjeepuja @Kunalrverma and to that cutie too!”

Now, finally, the wedding festivities have begun for Puja and Kunal and on November 14, 2021, was their mehendi night. Taking to their IG stories, Puja and Kunal have shared a series of pictures and videos from the party. Puja also shared a picture with Kunal on her IG handle, flaunting her henna clad hands as her groom-to-be was seen standing beside her with folded hands. While Kunal wore a light green kurta with white pants and a white Nehru jacket with floral motifs on it, Puja looked beautiful in a shimmery floral green lehenga. She captioned the picture as:
“And finally mujhse shaadi karogi gaanaa padaaa @kunalrverma ko.”
Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma's friends, Monalisa and Aneek Dhar also shared a series of pictures on their respective IG handles. We caught glimpses of Puja and Kunal's son, Krishiv happily enjoying his parents' mehendi night. The baby boy looked dapper in a pink kurta with white pyjama and twinned with his mommy in a floral green Nehru jacket. Check out the pictures below:
Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma had embraced parenthood on October 9, 2020, by welcoming their little bundle of joy, Krishiv Verma. As Krishiv is one year old, he will get to witness his parents’ traditional wedding. On November 11, 2021, Puja Banerjee had taken to her Instagram handle to post a cute 'Save The Date' announcement. In the photo, we could see the duo posing in traditional outfits. Alongside it, Puja had written:
"Yay, finally."

In a conversation with ETimes, when Puja Banerjee was asked about her son, Krishiv Verma's reaction to witnessing his parents' wedding in Goa, she had said, ''It will be fun." She had concluded revealing that the wedding in Goa will be an intimate one, followed by a grand reception in Mumbai. In her words:
"The Goa wedding is a small, intimate affair. We will be having a party in Mumbai after some time, where we'll have a relatively larger attendance."
Earlier, in an interview with SpotboyE, Puja Banerjee had talked about her grand wedding plans and their son, Krishiv will sit with his father on ghodi. Talking about the same, Puja had said:
“We will definitely get married with all the rituals. But yes we will not spend a lot of money. As the scenarios have changed now. The world is going through a lot. So, I really don't want to waste money. But I definitely want to fulfil my dream of taking saath phere. Bas is baar Papa ke saath ghodi pe beta bhi baithega. Our son (Krishiv) will never complain to us that you people did not invite me for your wedding."
We cannot wait for Puja and Kunal to share more pictures from the wedding festivities. However, we miss spotting Krishiv at the mehendi night.
