Rakhi Sawant is the ultimate controversial queen. She totally knows how to encash a situation and give the situation a funny take. It was back in 2019 when Rakhi Sawant had surprised everyone with the announcement of her wedding with a UK-based mystery man. To announce her ‘married’ status, Rakhi had posted pictures of herself, dressed as a bride in a white gown with a veil over her head, her locks left loose, chooda and mehendi as she had held a bouquet of tulips. However, the revelations she had made during her stay in the Bigg Boss 14 house about her marriage had stunned everyone.

In one of the Weekend ka Vaar episodes, Rakhi had said that she had to marry Ritesh to save herself from someone. She had also revealed that Ritesh was already married with a child and she only got to know about it after their marriage. While her statement has melted many hearts, some had called her fake and had said that she was cooking up stories to be in the show. Rakhi’s revelations on the reality show had made most of her fans worry about her marriage with Ritesh. However, now, the actress has revealed that her hubby wishes to marry her again.
In a conversation with ETimes TV, Rakhi Sawant revealed that she is still in contact with her husband, Ritesh and they connect with each other over video calls. Rakhi shared that her hubby wants to marry her again, in front of everyone. Sharing that he is facing visa issues and his marriage plans, Rakhi said, “I am still in touch with Ritesh, we talk to each other on video calls. He is facing visa issues and there are a few legal issues that he wants to first sort out. He has told me that he wants to talk about our relationship in front of everyone. He has told me that he wants to get married to me again but this time in front of everyone."
Rakhi also shared that her husband is ready to talk about his first marriage and sort things with her. Talking about their current relationship status, she said, "I am still his wife, I don't know if legally I am his wife or not. But I am waiting for him to come and talk about us and our marriage. I had requested him earlier also at the time of our marriage to meet the media, but he has few issues and he told me that I am very controversial. Hence, he was hesitant. But this time he wants to do it. Things are sorted between us and he is ready to talk about his first marriage also. I am just waiting for him."

Earlier, in an interview with Zoom for Telly Talk, Rakhi had opened up about Ritesh’s previous marriage and child and had said that she wouldn’t have married him if she knew about it before. Talking about the same, she had said, “Unhone mujhse ek baat chhupayi toh jo aap sabko bata diya. Woh nahi chhupana chahiye tha varna main apna ghar basane ke liye kisi ka ghar main nahi ujaadti.” When she was asked whether she would continue her marriage with him, she had stated, “Maine shaadi ki hai dil se. Main apne pati ko bohot chahti hoon. Ab mere takdeer mein hi nahi hai.”
After one of the elimination tasks in the BB14, Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Rakhi were seen having an intense conversation, where the latter had revealed that she and her husband, Ritesh haven’t lived together even after getting married and she misses companionship in her life. To this, Devoleena had suggested her to move on in her life as their relationship is baseless. To this, Rakhi had replied, "I can't. One life, one marriage for lifetime." She had further continued and had said that she needs a father’s name for her babies, explaining that she has frozen her eggs and will request her husband, Ritesh if he is willing to have kids with her.
