Rakul Preet Singh had made her Bollywood debut with Divya Khosla Kumar's film, Yaariyan, in 2014. She was last seen in the Telugu film, Konda Polam. On the other hand, Jackky had worked in hit films like Kal Kissne Dekha, Ajab Gazabb Love, and Youngistaan. He had also produced films like Bell Bottom and Jawani Janeman. But apart from their acting prowess, the duo hits the headlines every now and then because of their alleged relationship.
On October 10, 2021, the 36-year-old actor had talked about his feelings for Rakul Preet Singh on her 31st birthday. Jackky took to his Instagram handle and had posted a lovely photo with her. In the picture, we could see the duo holding hands. Alongside it, Jackky had written:
"Without you, days don't seem like days. Without you, eating the most delicious food is no fun. Sending Birthday wishes to the most beautiful soul who means the world to me!!! May your day be as sunny as your smile, and as beautiful as you are. Happy Birthday."

After making their relationship official in October 2021, rumours about Rakul Preet and Jackky Bhagnani's wedding had been speculating. When asked about this, the actress opened up about finalising the big day. She said to News18:
“Be it marriage or any other rumours about nonsense that doesn’t exist, specially don’t bother me at all. I have learnt to keep my blinders on and keep working. I have been transparent in my life and as and when that step has to happen, I will be the first person to talk about it, like I did this time too. I only feel people shouldn’t speculate and wait for the truth to come out. Right now my focus is on my work and the 10 films that I have and the other work that is coming in. Everything else will happen when it is due.”
In a previous interview with the Hindustan Times, Rakul Preet had talked about the reason due to which she had made her relationship with Jackky Bhagnani Insta-official. Talking about the same, the Yaariyan actress had said:
''I spoke about my personal life because I had to. I choose to listen to things that I want to listen to. I choose to not get affected by things. I spoke about my personal life because I thought it was beautiful and I wanted to share it.”

On January 5, 2022, the alleged couple, Rakul Preet, and Jackky Bhagnani were spotted at the Mumbai airport in twinning outfits. Rakul went for a casual look with a black jacket and blue denim and paired it with comfy black sneakers. On the other hand, Jacky opted for an all-black look. He was wearing a black jacket, black trousers, black sneakers and completed the look with a black cap.
The couple seems to have returned to the city, from their vacation in London amid rumours of impending lockdown due to the rising number of Covid and Omicron cases. In the pictures, Rakul was seen walking alongside Jackky as they were making an exit from the airport.
On the work front, Rakul Preet will be seen in Ronnie Screwvala’s upcoming production titled Chhatriwali.
