Ever since Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had made a couple entry at Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand S Ahuja’s wedding reception, fans are in awe of this beautiful jodi. Every month there are reports of Alia and Ranbir’s rumoured wedding, leaving their fans excited. Even though Ranbir and Alia have, time and again, denied their wedding speculations, the reports don’t seem to fade away.
A few days back, there were reports that Ranbir and Alia are all set to tie the knot in December 2021. It was also reported that Ranbir had pushed the shooting dates of his film, Animal to January 2022 and Alia had wrapped up all her assignments and will only be promoting her film, Gangubai Kathiawadi, which is slated to release in January 2022.

As per the latest reports, the much sort-after couple, Ranbir and Alia have postponed their wedding and are planning to tie the knot in 2022 or early 2023. A source close to the couple revealed the reason behind the same to Bollywood Life and shared:
"One of the most important reasons perhaps is their film Brahmastra. The film’s team, as well as Ranbir and Alia, wanted the film to release before they officially become man and wife. And now, with the film releasing in September 2022, a wedding towards the end of next year or early 2023 can be possible."
In an interview with Rajeev Masand, when the journalist had recalled Ranbir saying that he wanted to be married by 32 and have kids by 34 and asked him to comment on it, the Brahmastra star had retorted:
“Well, I think it would have already been sealed if the pandemic had not hit our lives. I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick mark that goal very soon in my life.”
Ranbir and Alia never fail to give us couple goals. On September 28, 2021, Ranbir Kapoor had turned 39 and his girlfriend, Alia Bhatt had posted a romantic picture with him on her IG handle, to wish him on his birthday. In the photo, we could see Alia and Ranbir lost in each other while enjoying a whimsical sunset view. Alongside it, Alia had written, "Happy birthday my life."

On August 19, 2021. Alia Bhatt's stylist, Lakshmi Lehr had shared some stunning pictures of the Student of the Year actress. The pictures had featured Alia's house and a couple of wall frames were visible in the background. One of these classy frames had a picture of the much-in-love duo, Alia and Ranbir. In the picture, we could see Ranbir giving a peck on his girlfriend, Alia's forehead.
On the professional front, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be next seen together in the film, Brahmastra!
