Two of the most talented actors of the Hindi film industry, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are making the headlines these days for their alleged relationship. Ever since Ayan Mukerji’s next film, Brahmastra went on floors, speculations and conjectures have been rife that something is brewing between the two. And on May 08, 2018, when Alia and Ranbir walked hand-in-hand at the Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s reception, sparks were added to the rumours. In fact, during the promotions of her latest release, Raazi, Alia was asked about her alleged relationship with Ranbir. She was asked, “Is there any truth to the rumours that you and Ranbir are a couple?”. Thinking to dodge the question, she replied, “What, Ranveer Singh, I have no linkup with Ranveer Singh, hahahah”.
When probed further that she was asked about Ranbir and not Ranveer, she retorted, “You are absolutely right, we are more than friends... We are co-actors. We are working together in a beautiful film called 'Brahmastra' which will release next year”.
She further added, “When I read the rumours of my patch-up and break-ups, I find it very funny. The even more entertaining thing here is that the writers have a beginning, middle and an end to the stories also. They have sequels too!! I find these things very entertaining and funny”. And now, according to Pinkvilla, in an interview which would soon air on TV, Ranbir was asked to comment on his alleged relationship with Alia, and he sweetly replied that it's ‘too new’ to talk about. Isn’t saying ‘too new’ itself a confirmation? Or at least saying that it has started?
Earlier as well, Ranbir had casually slipped the truth at the IIFA conference in Delhi where, responding to the question of how he feels about Alia’s crush on him, he had said, “Well, I have a boy crush on her now”. In fact, Karan Johar who was also present at the conference went all ‘awww’.
Recently, in an interview, Alia commented that she is fascinated by Ranbir. She was quoted as saying, “I don’t know whether I used the word, ‘fascinated’. But yes, I would definitely say that I’m fascinated by the kind of person he is with his vibe and behaviour. He is a really rare person and in the years that I have been alive, I haven’t seen many such people”.
In Koffee with Karan, Alia once said to Karan, "I remember the first time I spoke to Ranbir. You called him up when Rockstar just released and you said, 'Here, talk to Ranbir. Tell him how much you love him'. And I spoke so much rubbish. I was just talking non-stop, and he was like, 'Yeah, that's very nice, Alia.'"
Well, we can’t wait for Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor to confirm themselves about their relationship and make it official now.
