Now, in the latest episode of Koffee with Karan season 6, which is all about Koffee confessions, Karan Johar has shown us the clips from the shooting of various episodes which didn’t make it to the final cut. In the episode which witnessed Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar gracing the Koffee couch, there is one honest confession made by Ranveer which has sent us all in splits. Ranveer Singh has revealed the one quality which he wanted Deepika Padukone to change before their marriage. Mind you, when this episode was shot and aired, Ranveer and Deepika were unmarried. Ranveer said, “I hope she can chill out. She’s just very strict disciplinarian who cracks the whip. She gotta chill. She got no chills.”
Deepika, are you listening, and have you changed for your hubby? Ranveer has always been vocal about his relationship, especially after their marriage. In one of the recent interviews, he had shared, “When we are home, we are super chill. We are like friends. And that's the most beautiful part about it. We have a lot of common ground. Since we both are movie stars, we have a lot more to talk about. But I think what is most significant for me is that we are besties. We are BFFs. We are buddies. We can talk endlessly, we can spend endless amounts of time with each other, we can spend time with each other in silence, doing our own thing and being totally comfortable.”
Ranveer Singh and Karan Johar had recently been guests on Film Companion’s Tape Cast season 2. When Karan had asked him, if he feels insecure about infidelity considering the showbiz around, Ranveer had replied saying, “I am very secure lover because I know the way I love her nobody else can. I have bagged myself the top-most chick so what I gotta worry about. I have never met anyone in my life who has captivated me the way she does. I have dated her for six years and then we got married.”
In an interview with Famously Filmfare, Ranveer had opened up about his muse, Deepika and what she means to him. He had said, “She is so gharelu...I love it...I love it.” He also couldn’t stop from self-praising and how he is going to be the husband of the millennial and said, “I am telling you I am going to be the husband of the millennium. Deepika also never shies away from sharing little things about her hubby. Once she had disclosed what kind of a person Ranveer is and had stated, “He is vulnerable, extremely emotional, very intelligent; childlike at times. That's not to say that his irrepressible energy isn't him, it's very him. He's a real people's person, but there's a quiet side to him too." The actress further revealed, “Emotionally, I think I'm the more intuitive one. I'd say IQ is more him. But at the same time, he's not all like, 'I'm a man, I can't show my emotions.' He is sensitive, and so am I, and it makes it easier to share a life with someone who understands that."
She had also added in an interview about how their relationship has evolved over the years. She was quoted as saying, “Over a period of time because it's the small things that he did and the little things that he said which made me believe and feel more and more that he's the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. The foundation of our relationship is just solid friendship and for any successful relationship, that's very essential. It started off on that note right from the beginning and over the years that we have dated, it only became stronger and stronger. Over a period of time, I don't think there was that one definite moment.”
The Bajirao Mastani actor, Ranveer had once revealed that six-months into their relationship and he was sure that she is ‘the one’ for him. He was quoted as saying, "Six months into the relationship, I knew she was the one. I nurtured the relationship accordingly. It’s been six years now. She’s too good, too lovely. She’s a force of nature. I understood that almost immediately. I’m lucky to have her. I knew all too well that this is the woman I’m going to marry. This is the woman who would become the mother of my children. I’ve been thinking about marriage seriously for almost three years now.
