The handsome actor, Vijay Deverakonda and the national crush, Rashmika Mandanna's relationship status is one of the highly searched topics in the search engines. Ever since the alleged couple worked together in the films, Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, their massive fanbase want the couple together in real life. However, they have dismissed all such rumours. Recently, in an interview, Rashmika revealed what the duo feels about the social media stories circling around their relationship rumour.
For the unversed, on October 7, 2022, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda were spotted at the Mumbai airport. Soon their glimpses went viral on social media. As per reports, the alleged couple were papped within a gap of a few minutes only by the paparazzi stationed at the Mumbai airport. In an interview with News18, Rashmika Mandanna once again addressed the speculations about her relationship with her alleged boyfriend, Vijay Deverakonda which is going on, on social media. She mentioned that since both of them are part of the entertainment world, thus these speculations don't matter to them. Moreover, the actress added that she finds it cute. However, the alleged couple doesn't sit and discuss these things and pays more attention to spending quality time with each other. She said:
“I understand that we are actors and the light is on us, with people wanting to know more about. I see what is happening on social media, like watch a few videos and find it very cute, but Vijay and I don’t really sit and discuss. We have a gang of 15 people and given a chance we would be playing board games with them. We are actors, but for us our friends are equally important and it keeps us grounded."
In the same conversation, the Goodbye actress mentioned that Vijay has always been there for her, and they discuss a lots of things. Talking about her equation with him and that their career paths have already diverged, Rashmika added:
“I have always known and I am very close to Vijay, which is why if I feel like asking about anything in the industry, I go and ask him. He is always there (for me). We are really close friends and we share and discuss thing. Early in our career, we did some of the biggest films together and this time around he did a pan-Indian film with Liger, which he has received immense love for, while I have worked in a Hindi film (Goodbye). So, I believe, both of our careers have been different and we haven’t led each other’s journey so we can’t really speak for one another."

Earlier, in an interview with Mashable India, the ever-so-gorgeous actress had admitted that she has done a lot of movies with Vijay Deverakonda, and that people wanted them to be together. However, Rashmika clearly stated that she isn't in a relationship with Vijay. Nevertheless, keeping the friendship stance on the forefront, Rashmika had mentioned:
"It's all so cute no. I am like aiyoo babu. It is so cute. Yeah. See Vijay and I have done so much work together, too early in our career. When we don't know how the industry is, and suddenly you work with like-minded people, you sort of like become friends, and you have a lot of common friends. I have this gang in Hyderabad, he has this gang in Hyderabad. And we have a lot of mutual friends. It's like that. It's so cute when the whole world is like 'Rashmika and Vijay, that's cute.'"
