B-town celebrities are known for their affairs and relationships as much as they are known for their films. Not every celeb is vocal about his/her relationship, but one couple has proved it otherwise. We’re talking about Fukrey’s Bholi Punjaban aka Richa Chadha and her co-actor from the same franchise, Ali Fazal. When they confessed their love for each other recently, their fans went gaga over them and now they’ve another reason to drool over Richa and Ali.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Richa has opened up about her feelings for her beau, and the status of their relationship. Once Richa had said that she could never fall for any actor, and following-up on this, when Pinkvilla asked her as to what changed her mindset, she was quoted as saying, “I have had bad experiences with actors on outdoor shoots and I never thought I'll fall for an actor. But with this experience, I have learnt that never say never. What we like about each other is that we give each other space and as we both are actors, we understand the demands of the profession. And at the same time, we both are from middle-class families.”
She further added, “He is a great intellectual match for me, he is well read and educated guy. He has common interests like me - art, literature, music and photography. Sometimes we cook together and even workout together.”
Commenting on her marriage plans, she remarked, "I don't know about it and we don't want to give anyone that much access to our life. If it happens, it will be very private and for us. We are very fresh and new, we want to take it slow and be happy.”
Well, we respect Richa for saying so. After all, a personal space is personal, and they must take their time. Earlier, even Ali opened up about this relationship and said, “It’s our friendship, which grew over time. It’s so easy for everyone to fit us in a genre and label it love. Love is when we last, so the hope is that we arrive somewhere close to that. I just hope this is the last time I will be disclosing status on my personal life. We don’t want to jeopardise our little friendship. But am happy, I am very happy.”
For those of you who do not know, Richa and Ali’s relationship rumours started floating after the release of Fukrey. Just recently when Richa flew down all the way to the Venice Film Festival for her beau, where the latter’s film Victoria and Abdul was being screened, the rumours solidified and fans somehow knew that something is cooking between them.
But, then came reports that Ali has a secret girlfriend in LA. However; Richa herself cleared all doubts and coast when she openly said that it was her who was the secret girlfriend in LA. Whoa!
