Choti Bahu – Sindoor Bin Suhagan fame actress, Rubina Dilaik and Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka fame actor, Abhinav Shukla were pronounced as mister and missus to each other on June 21, 2018. Their simple yet classy wedding took place at the famous Woodville Palace, Shimla. The two took the wedding vows in the presence of their friends and family. From their industry friends, Husein Kuwajerwala with wife Tina, Sharad Kelkar and his wife Keerti Gaekwad Kelkar, Srishty Rode, Rahuol Lohani, Karan V Grover, Poppy Jabbal, among others were present. After the wedding in Shimla (which happens to be Rubina’s hometown), newly-weds Rubina and Abhinav hosted a grand reception party on June 25, 2018, in Ludhiana (which happens to be Abhinav’s hometown). Rubina wore a pretty bodycon grey shimmery gown with matching tassel earrings. She kept her hair off her face and her sindoor was pretty visible, which accentuated her look. Well, it seems that the party is not over yet. Celebrations and fun regarding Rubina and Abhinav’s wedding are still going on. Talking about why they chose Shimla as the destination, Rubina earlier told a media portal, “We have chosen Shimla for various reasons. To begin with, most of our relatives are settled there. However, the prewedding functions will take place in Mumbai and Ludhiana, which Abhinav’s hometown. We are not going in for an elaborate ritual, as for us, what matters most is the saat phere. We both wanted it to be an outdoor affair. Abhinav, being an adventure junkie, wished to exchange vows amidst the mountains, in the lap of nature. I, too, wanted a day wedding with lots of natural light and greenery around.”
Sharing his love for hills and then getting married in the vicinity of nature, Abhinav retorted, "I love hills and the weather. It was pleasant with a slight welcome drizzle. And Woodville place is a beautiful place with so much history and character to it.
