On August 5, 2021, Sameera took to her IG account and shared a beautiful throwback video featuring her kids. Along with the video, she also posted a heartfelt caption, that can be read as “I will hold her hand & never let it go mama Jab they met Hans & Nyra I wanted to share one of the most important moments of my life. Introducing my son to his lil," along with a bunch of hashtags. In the video, Sameera’s elder son, Hans was cutely holding his little sister, Nyra. Fans and followers on Sameera’s IG account showered the adorable video with heart emojis.
On July 17, 2021, Sameera, who is currently working on her goal to lose weight by Diwali, had shared a video of herself skipping and running with her son and daughter on her official IG account. Sharing the video, Sameera had written that she had started skipping and running to reach her goal weight of 75kg. She had added that doing both exercises is hard. However, she is focused and will soon achieve her goal.

In an interview with The Humans of Bombay, Sameera had opened up about struggles that she had faced and combat post-delivery. She had said, "When I got pregnant with Hans, my son, I thought that I’d be one of those page 3 moms posing away for the shutterbugs with a perfect bump. My vision of motherhood came from the glam world that I was from. But 9 months later, I weighed 105 kgs. And even as I held my gorgeous son, I didn’t feel happy; I slipped into postpartum depression."
