We have witnessed a lot of ups and downs in relationships in Bollywood. While some could survive the test of time, some couples had decided to part ways with their partners. One such person was Salman Khan, who has dated quite a few Bollywood divas but still continues to be single even at 55. One such diva that the actor had dated was Sangeeta Bijlani.
Though Sangeeta Bijlani and Salman Khan had dated for a decade, things did not go well between the duo, and they had decided to call it quits before their marriage. However, the beautiful actress and former Miss India met cricketer, Mohammad Azharuddin at an ad shoot in 1985 and found the love of her life in him. Sangeeta had tied the marital knot with the handsome cricketer in 1996.

In an interview with Bombay Times, Sangeeta Bijlani opened up about her equation with her ex-boyfriend, Salman Khan and shared that they are still connected, and she does not believe in keeping grudges against him. She said, "Connections don't break. Connections never go away. The love between your partners, school friends never go away. People will come and go. Nobody will be permanent in life."
Sangeeta Bijlani also recalled the time when she was childish and stupid, but she has grown up now and does not want to keep any differences with her former boyfriend, Salman Khan. She further added, "That does not mean you will feel bitter or angry. At one point you evolve. There was a point in time of my life where I was childish and stupid, but I am a grown up now. Life is full of experiences."

In the same interview, Sangeeta Bijlani also reflected upon her plans to make a comeback in Showbiz and said, "I would like to explore web shows. I will take an offer if it appeals to my sensibilities. I am not happy with what I am getting. I am excited to see the kind of work the new directors are presenting the audience with. I want to do something deep and interesting, not the regular, run-off-the-mill kind of stuff."
Earlier, in an interaction with Karan Johar in the talk show, Koffee With Karan, Salman Khan had revealed how most of his relationships didn't work out and how his wedding with Sangeeta Bijlani was called off. He had said, "There was a time I really wanted to get married and then it just didn't work out. I have always come so close. People have got cold feet. 'Theek hain, boyfriend hain, isko zindagi bhar jhelna padega kya. With Sangeeta even the cards and all were printed."

On the work front, Sangeeta Bijlani has worked in movies like Qatil,Tridev, Hathyar, Jurm and many more.
