One of the most talked-about couple in Tinseltown, Payal Rohatgi and Sangram Singh is all set to get married on July 9, 2022. Sangram who is a former wrestler by profession, is one such man who is madly in love with the actress and knows how to keep her happy. For the unversed, the much-in-love duo have been dating for the last 12 years, and finally they have decided to take their relationship to the next level by tying the marital knot.
The television actress, Payal Rohatgi and her darling boyfriend, Sangram Singh, both being social media butterflies, keep on updating their fans with cutesy glimpses from their lives and mushy romance. For instance, to announce their wedding news with their fans, they had also dropped a lovely post on their respective Instagram handles. On May 19, collaboratively taking to their IG handles, they had shared two posters with their pictures in a boxing posture and had written:
"Coming this July... Where we get to say the vows!!! And be wedding-bound! Love Sangram & Payal."

Now, in a recent media interaction with ETimes, Sangram Singh opened up about his wedding venue. He mentioned that though Rajasthan and Ahmedabad were on the couple's list, however they have finalised Agra as their wedding venue. Sharing the same, the groom-to-be added that because of everyone's convenience, he and Payal have opted for this venue. He also mentioned that since his family is going to come from his hometown, i.e., in Rohtak, Haryana, so this wedding venue would be at a distance of about four hours. Sangram said:
“We were planning to host our wedding in Rajasthan or Payal’s hometown, Ahmedabad. However, we have locked Agra as the venue. It’s convenient for everyone, including my family in my hometown, Rohtak (Haryana). They will take around four hours to reach the destination.”
Further, in the same conversation, Sangram walked down his memory lane with his ladylove, Payal. Revealing about their first meet, he shared that the much-in-love duo had met for the first time in 2011 on a highway near Agra. And at that time, he was returning from a wrestling match, being bathed in mud and had given a lift to the actress, since her car had broken down. Sharing the same, Sangram mentioned a cute conversation which had happened between the duo at that time and how even after sharing each others numbers, they had never talked. And it was after the end of the reality show, Survivor India in 2012, that they had begun talking. Adding that now they are going to tie the knot, the wrestler-actor revealed:
“I was returning from a kushti and Payal from a shoot in Agra. Her car broke down on a highway near the city. We stopped our car and gave her a lift. I still remember that I was covered in mitti because of the fight and Payal said, ‘Gaadi toh badi saaf hai’ and I replied, ‘Aaj toh aur dinon se tab bhi zyada saaf hai’(laughs)! We exchanged phone numbers but never called each other. It was only towards the end of the reality show, Survior India (2012), that we got talking. And now, we are going to be man and wife.”

For the unversed, at first, the much-in-love couple, Payal and Sangram were supposed to get married on July 21, 2022, which also happens to be Sangram's birthday. But later, they had to shift their wedding date to July 9, 2022, as his mother had declared that there's no mahurat after that. A few days after their intimate wedding ceremony with their close friends and family, they will host a party for their industry friends in Mumbai.
Well, we can't wait to see Payal and Sangram donning their wedding ensembles!
