Indian tennis sensation, Sania Mirza had begun her happily ever after journey with Pakistani cricketer, Shoaib Malik on April 12, 2010. And after 8 years of marital bliss, when Sania and Shoaib had embraced parenthood for the first time with the arrival of their baby boy, Izhaan Mirza Malik, their happiness had known no bounds. Izhaan is the heart and soul of Mirza-Malik clan and the little munchkin never misses a chance to surprise us with his cute antics.

A few months before delivering her firstborn, Sania had attended the UN Women India's launch of #MujheHaqHai campaign event, wherein she had revealed that their child won’t just take his/her father’s family name (i.e. Malik) forward but will have ‘Mirza Malik’ as the surname. Hence, the doting parents had named their baby boy, Izhaan Mirza Malik. Just like his celeb parents, little Izzi too enjoys a huge fanbase and netizens love watching the little wonder. The doting mommy, Sania loves sharing glimpses of her baby boy, Izhaan and we just can’t stop ourselves from falling in love with this cute little munchkin.
Time and again, we have seen how Izhaan loves learning new things. Be it memorising his duas or learning about traffic lights, Izhaan has always made us go aww. And now his mommy, Sania has shared another cute clip of Izhaan acing the role of a shopkeeper. On April 19, 2021, Sania took to her IG handle and shared a video with Izhaan, indulged in ‘pretend play’. In the video, Sania played the role of a customer and Izhaan donned the role of a shopkeeper and it was one cute sight to behold. Sania captioned the video as “When you have the cutest shopkeeper. Pretend play and learning together with my @izhaan.mirzamalik so good to be back home.”
On October 30, 2020, Izhaan Mirza Malik had turned 2 and to mark his birthday, his parents had posted heartfelt birthday wishes for him. Sania Mirza had posted a candid click of little Izhaan and a family picture and had poured her heart out in a long note, wishing him on his birthday. Sania had written, "Happy birthday to this boy who lights up my world, who is my world and who changed my world. We love you much, my baby boy. You give us so much unconditional love, happiness laughs and cuddles that it fills up our heart. May Allah guide you and give you everything you wish forever. We love you more than anything or anyone in this world. @izhaan.mirzamalik."

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Sania had talked about embracing motherhood and had stated, “A lot has changed after becoming a mother, your life changes, I think the whole focus becomes about the baby and prioritising the baby. Me as a working woman, I obviously want to get back to tennis, so I am trying to prioritise my time. It is the most selfless kind of love I have ever known, and it is the most amazing feeling I have ever had. My life has completely changed for the better. Ya, Shoaib is also playing quite a lot and is travelling so he does help whenever he can."
