In 2020, the beautiful and stunning, lawyer, blogger and entrepreneur, Sanjana Rishi had decided to tie the marital knot with the man of her dreams, Druv Mahajan. The whole event was too dreamy to be real! But her choice of wedding apparel had received a few hurtful comments and trolling from the netizens. As a bride-to-be, Sanjana had opted for a gorgeous pantsuit but, the social media users couldn't accept it.

Sanjana's IG handle is filled with her wedding pictures. She had worn a powder blue coloured pantsuit designed by Gianfranco Ferre. She had paired it with a coffee-tinted corset bustier that she had borrowed from her best friend's mother and a gorgeously embellished veil from Torani's collection. The then-bride had completed her look with a diamond layered neckpiece, a pair of statement hoops, and a beautiful maang teeka.
For the makeup, she had opted for a subtle look with soft smokey kohled eyes and pink nude lips. She had looked like a boss lady but unquestionably her look was dewy and dreamy. While posting her pictures on the gram, the bride had chosen the right words to portray the story that she had wanted to tell.
The caption to the photos could be read as "Who says bridal looks have to fit a mould, cultural or otherwise? The only thing a look must fit (other than your body) is your personality! I wanted to choose a wedding outfit that encapsulated my style but also stayed true to my commitment to supporting sustainability, local artisans and ethical shopping. I think I did great!"

One of the social media users had said, "Shadi kr rahi ho ya meeting main ja rahi ho." Another one had commented, "Why indian man? if you don't like indian traditional wedding dress." On the other hand, a user did not refrain from questioning her values and had written, "I have never seen this thing like why you guys are hating Indian Culture so much that you are not supposed to wear Lehenga being a modern person is good but it doesn't mean tha u are going to take your parampara down like this ..this is super sad and bad."

After a year of their wonderful married life, Sanjana had announced her pregnancy news. In one such pregnancy shoot, Sanjana slammed all those trollers by recreating her wedding look and wearing the same suit on that day but giving it a bit of a twist! She draped a beautiful blue and white colour combination saree with floral and stripe patterns printed all over it from Torani's collection. She paired her look with Gianfranco Ferre's blazer from her wedding attire and flaunted her baby bump. She wore the saree on her bare body, giving a glimpse of her gorgeous baby bump.
Sanjana completed her look with a layered neckpiece and a stunning headband. For the makeup, she opted for soft glittery eyes, blushed cheeks, and brown nude lips. Her maternity fashion game has reached another level with this apparel.

While sharing a series of pictures from her maternity photoshoot on her IG handle, she wrote in the caption, "Last year a bunch of people told me my wedding outfit was somehow anti-Indian. I’m a REAL people pleaser, so this year, jusssst for you—I wore a sari. I expect nothing but praise in the comments."
