However, the man's face was not visible in the picture, however, it had led to the speculation that they are dating each other. Later, on September 1, 2018, Farhan had shared the same picture on his Instagram account, making their relationship official.
While Farhan Akhtar is enjoying every bit of his beautiful relationship with Shibani Dandekar, the actor never skips a chance to shower immense love on his daughters, Shakya Akhtar and Akira Akhtar with his ex-wife, Adhuna Bhabani. Once again, the actor has dropped an old picture from the year 2002 that featured him walking on the streets of London with his little baby princess, Shakya.

On November 2, 2021, Farhan Akhtar took to his Instagram handle and shared a priceless picture from his 'London Diaries 2002' that featured a monochrome picture of him with his daughter, Shakya Akhtar. In the picture, we can see a young Farhan carrying his little baby girl, Shakya, in a baby carrier and posing for the camera with a sweet smile. Also, baby Shakya's cute expressions while posing for the picture, made this frame a memorable one for decades to come. However, what left everyone amazed was the uncanny resemblance between baby Shakya and her father, Farhan's eyes.
Apart from Farhan Akhtar's sheer resemblance with his daughter, Shakya Akhtar, his look and youthfulness left everyone stunned, especially his close friend and actor, Hrithik Roshan. The Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara actor dropped two comments on Farhan's picture, while in the first one, he wrote, "What ! That's you ? Too sweet man", in the second one, he penned, "You look 12 years older than Shakya here" followed by a red heart emoticon. Netizens were also quick to drop their love on Farhan and Shakya's throwback picture.

On August 7, 2021, Farhan Akhtar had taken to his IG handle and had penned a heart-melting note for his daughter, Shakya Akhtar, on her birthday. Along with the note, the doting father had also shared three cutesy pictures that had shown his daughter's journey from a baby princess to a gorgeous queen. His note could be read as:
"Happy 21 Shakya. @chatdelalune Seeing you grow into a strong, independent, fierce woman has been one of the biggest joys of my life. So proud of you. Love you more with each passing day. Pa."
For the uninitiated, Farhan Akhtar was earlier married to Adhuna Bhabani for over 17 years. Together they had welcomed two lovely daughters, Shakya Akhtar and Akira Akhtar, into their lives. However, the couple had parted ways in 2016. Post their divorce, while Farhan has found love again in the gorgeous model, Shibani Dandekar, his ex-wife, Adhuna, is also in a steady relationship with popular actor, Dino Morea's brother, Nicole Morea.
