Shah Rukh Khan, often hailed as the ‘King of Bollywood,’ is once again the talk of the town, this time for his striking new look from his upcoming film, King. The actor, who recently turned 60, has left fans buzzing after glimpses of his rugged avatar surfaced online. Many have been quick to draw parallels between his King look and Brad Pitt’s suave appearance in the Formula 1-inspired movie F1.
The first visuals from King, marking SRK’s return to action after Jawaan and Pathaan, feature him in a stylish suede jacket, messy hair, and dark shades. The overall aesthetic exudes a mix of power, coolness, and rebellion, leading fans to call it Brad Pitt meets Bollywood. While official teasers remain under wraps, fan accounts and industry insiders have hinted that King will explore a high-octane world filled with fast cars, underground rivalries, and intense drama.
Interestingly, the similarities between SRK’s look and Brad Pitt’s F1 character have sparked debates online. Both actors, known for their ageless charisma, are seen wearing similar rugged yet sophisticated styles. Pitt’s film revolves around the glamorous yet dangerous world of Formula One racing, and SRK’s King reportedly brings an Indian twist to a similar adrenaline-fueled universe. Whether the resemblance is intentional or coincidental remains unclear, but it has certainly set social media ablaze.
Fans have been flooding platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram with reactions. One user commented, “SRK looks like he just walked out of Brad Pitt’s F movie, total boss energy!” Another wrote, “If Brad Pitt is F1, SRK is F1 plus Bollywood charm.” Many fans also noted that Kingm seems to promise smooth, global-standard action sequences that could rival Hollywood productions.

Adding to the excitement is the fact that King marks the on-screen collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and his daughter, Suhana Khan. While SRK takes on a gritty lead role, Suhana, who made her acting debut in The Archies, is reportedly playing a central character in the narrative. The father-daughter duo will share the screen for the first time, making King one of the most anticipated Indian films of 2026.
Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, known for Kahaani and Badla, the film promises a slick mix of action, mystery, and emotional depth. The project is co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and Siddharth Anand’s Marflix Pictures, the latter fresh off the success of Fighter. The ensemble cast also includes Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Abhay Verma, and Rani Mukerji.

While fans eagerly await King’s release, many might not realize that the film is reportedly a remake of the cult French classic Léon: The Professional (1994), directed by Luc Besson. The original starred Jean Reno as a hitman who reluctantly takes in a young girl, played by Natalie Portman, after her family was murdered. The emotional bond between the assassin and the child forms the heart of the story, blending raw action with touching vulnerability. In King, Shah Rukh Khan is believed to step into the role inspired by 'Reno’s' character.
