A glimpse of Shaheer Sheikh's love for his father was seen on September 9, 2020, when his father had turned a year older. The doting son had taken to his IG handle and had shared a beautiful picture of his parents. We could see his father celebrating his birthday with his wife in the photo. Shaheer had also penned a heartmelting note for his dearest daddy, and it could be read as:
"Thank you for leading by example. Thank you for instilling in us the right moral code and values. #happybirthdaypapa."

According to reports, Shaheer Sheikh's father, Shahnawaz Sheikh, took his last breath on January 19, 2022, after losing his battle against COVID-19 infection. A few moments back, Shaheer's close friend and actor, Aly Goni, confirmed the reports with a heartbreaking tweet. Aly paid his condolences to Shaheer and his family on their huge loss. The actor also extended his support to his close friend, Shaheer and tweeted:
"Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un...May Allah rest uncle's soul in peace bhai @Shaheer_S stay strong bhai."
As per the latest reports and speculations in the media, the last rites of Shaheer Sheikh's father, Shahnawaz Sheikh, will take place in Bhaderwah, Jammu. The Pavitra Rishta 2.0 actor had revealed that his father was on ventilator at the moment, after a sudden drop in his health. Revealing the reason behind his ill health, Shaheer had also shared that his dad was suffering from a severe COVID-19 infection. The actor had requested his fans to pray for his father's speedy recovery and had urged them to keep him in their prayers. Along with his emotional tweet, Shaheer had also shared a solo picture of his dad. His tweet could be read as:
"My dad is on a ventilator, suffering from a severe covid infection... please keep him in your prayers."
