Shaheer Sheikh had broken millions of hearts when he had tied the knot with Ruchikaa Kapoor in November 2020. While he is one versatile actor, she is the Creative Producer & Executive Vice President at Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures Ltd. It’s been a month now that the reports of Shaheer and Ruchikaa expecting their first child together has been doing the rounds, and now, the actor has probably dropped a hint about the same.

Shaheer and Ruhikaa had become one in an intimate court marriage. To announce their wedding after the pictures from the same had gone viral, the couple had posted pictures on their IG handles. While Shaheer had written, "Zindagi khatm bhi ho jaaye agar... Na kabhi khatm ho ulfat ka safar. #chaloDildarChalo #ikigai", Ruchikaa had captioned it as "Off on an adventure called Forever #HappilyEverAfter #ForeverPerson #Ikigai #theGirlwithcurls #MadMeNow."
It was in May that the first reports of Shaheer and Ruchikaa expecting their first child had broken and the actor had often reacted on the same. However, in a conversation with IndiaToday.in, Shaheer has probably dropped a hint about the pregnancy. He said, “I don't want to say anything about it at this moment."
Shaheer then gave a hint and shared that he should be with his wife at the moment as it is very important. Sharing his wish to return to Mumbai as soon as possible, Shaheer said, "I want to be back in Mumbai as soon as I can. Traveling and shooting in outdoor locations is fun, but at the same time, I want to go back to my home in Mumbai. I should be with my wife at the moment...very important. So I want to go to Mumbai as soon as possible."
Amidst the pregnancy rumours, Ruchikaa had made her first appearance at Ekta Kapoor’s 46th birthday bash. Ruchikaa had opted for a loose-fitted purple coloured dress for the party and her face was glowing as she had posed with her friends. Ruchikaa had also shared a few pictures to wish Ekta and her pictures from the bash made us wonder if the rumours are indeed true!

It’s been around seven months since Shaheer and Ruchikaa’s wedding, but The Times Of India had quoted its source as saying that Shaheer likes to keep a low profile and doesn’t like to talk about his personal life. It was stated that he has been hiding the news, keeping the pandemic in mind and Ruchikaa is in her first trimester and they are eagerly waiting to embrace this new chapter in their lives.
A few days after the report of The Times Of India, in a conversation with them, Shaheer had reacted to the pregnancy rumours. The actor had neither denied nor accepted them. Shaheer had stated, "Let's not talk about it. It is too early to comment."
