Shahid Kapoor is married to the love of his life, Mira Rajput and together, they are blessed with two kids, a daughter, Misha and a son, Zain. The actor never shies away from opening up about small anecdotes from his life. On the work front, Shahid is currently promoting his latest released film, Bloody Daddy, co-starring Sanjay Kapoor, Ronit Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal and Diana Penty in crucial roles. During one such promotions, he opened up about his son, Zain's love for cricket, just like him. He also revealed how the little one's fanboying moment gives him ultimate pleasure.
In an interview with Zoom TV, Shahid Kapoor revealed that his son, Zain Kapoor is an avid cricket fan like him. For the uninitiated, Shahid also essayed the role of a cricketer in the film, Jersey. He shared Zain is a big fan of two cricket personalities, Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav. And to see Zain's love for cricket gives immense pleasure to Shahid. The doting daddy said:
"Right now my kids are fans of cricketers okay, so it's Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli. They are fanboying, especially Zain is fanboying them right now and I am loving it because it's normal like even when I was a kid, I was a huge fan of cricket and of cricket players, so I'm like haan iske andar mera khoon hai, isse bhi cricket accha lag raha hai."

Recently, a picture featuring Shahid and his four-year-old son, Zain from the cricket stadium made rounds on social media. The picture was clicked when Shahid took his son to an IPL match. In the picture, Shahid looked dapper in a white t-shirt paired with a denim jacket and matching pants. On the other hand, Zain looked adorable in a white-hued tee while he was observing the game of cricket with the utmost attention.
Earlier, in an interview with the Indian Express, Shahid Kapoor was asked if he has consciously taken the decision to keep his kids, Misha and Zain, away from the limelight. To this, the actor revealed his wish to give a normal lifestyle to them. Mentioning how he can not change certain things in their kids' lives, Shahid shared that he feels that a lot of problems are happening because of him. Talking about how he too, craves normalcy, the actor shared that despite being an actor, he would try to give them a normal life like other kids.

In another interview with the ETimes, Shahid Kapoor opened up about his immense love for his family. The Haider actor shared that he always ensures to spend enough time with his family. Calling himself a slave to his kids, Misha and Zain's demands, Shahid said that his children demand his time. Thus, he is a slave to their demands.
