Sidharth revealed the details about his break-up with Alia on Karan Johar’s celebrity chat show, Koffee with Karan. He said, “We haven't met after it. Our relationship is civil... I don't think it's bitter. It's been a while. I have known her for much longer even before we dated. I gave my first ever shot with her in SOTY so there is so much history. There is a reason why two people decide not to be together. There were lots of ups and downs. When you take yourself from a situation, you look at all the happy and good memories.”
While Sidharth has created a name for himself in the industry, he is not far away from attracting the rumours. Recently, there is a new rumour that has made gossip mongers all excited. According to a Deccan Chronicle report, Sidharth is now dating Student of the Year 2 actress, Tara Sutaria, who will be making her debut soon. The couple met during a party and it was none other than love-guru, Karan Johar, who set them up. However, they are very careful that the news doesn’t get out in the media. She's just starting out and he's looking to catch up with his contemporaries like Varun Dhawan and Vicky Kaushal who have raced far ahead. Distractions are the last thing he needs.”
For those who don’t know, Sidharth and Alia shared beautiful chemistry and the rumours of their dating started doing rounds when they made their debut in the industry. As of Alia, she is on cloud nine with great professional career to an amazing relationship with her long-time crush, Ranbir Kapoor. Last year in May, Ranbir confirmed the news of their relationship in an interview with GQ. He said, “It’s really new right now, and I don’t want to overspeak. It needs time to breathe and it needs space. As an actor, as a person, Alia is – what’s the right word? – flowing right now.
