The power couple, Kratika Sengar Dheer and Nikitin Dheer are over the moon these days as they have entered the parenthood league with the arrival of their baby girl, Devika Dheer. Though the new parents have not revealed the face of their little munchkin yet, they keep sharing mushy sneak peeks from their life to their million fans. Now, Devika received a gift hamper full of toys from her husband's co-star, Sidharth Malhotra, and it's too cute to be missed.
For the unversed, the doting parents, Kratika and Nikitin had announced the news of their daughter's birth in the cutest manner. Both of them had taken to their respective IG handles and had posted a picture of a rainbow. Mentioning her adorable name and date of birth, the couple had written, "And so the adventure begins. We welcome our baby girl. Devika Dheer. 12/05/2022" atop the picture. They had captioned the post as:
"We feel blessed to share with you the arrival of our darling daughter! – Dheers #harharmahadevom."

On June 2, 2022, Kratika Sengar took to her IG stories and dropped a picture of a cutesy gift basket that she received from her industry friend, Sidharth Malhotra. The gift hamper was full of soft and snuggly toys along with quirky socks and cards. The basket was adorned with a bunch of colourful balloons and a lilac coloured sticker which had, ‘It’s a girl’, written on it. Kratika added a heart-shaped sticker atop the picture to thank Sidharth for such a sweet and thoughtful gift for Devika. Check out!
Earlier, in a conversation with the Times of India, the newbie father, Nikitin Dheer had talked about his parenthood journey. The handsome hunk had also revealed why he and Kratika had picked an Indian name, unlike the trend of uncommon names. Calling themselves desi at heart, Nikitin had mentioned:
"We had zeroed in on a few names for both a boy and a girl. We wanted an Indian name, not a Greek, Turkish or Italian one. We are desi at heart and like it that way. That’s how we finalised Devika for our daughter. It sounds beautiful and is timeless. There is a lot of grace, dignity and deep meaning attached to the name.”

In an old conversation with ETimes, Kratika Sengar had got candid and had shared the real reason behind taking a long time before starting a family. Talking about the deadly pandemic phase, Kratika had said she was scared to bring a new life into this world at that time of uncertainty. In her words:
"During lockdown every other person was having babies and getting married. But for us it was not that case. Nikitin and I were not at all in that mind frame to get pregnant or have babies as everyone was losing their loved ones. It was such a difficult time. We were not even sure of the future. How could we even think of having a new life into this world. I feel people who had babies in the lockdown did not plan it. It happened because both the partners were at home together. Nikitin and I were very sure that it was not the time to think of having a baby. Humein apni he Zindagii ka nahi Pata tha kya horaha hai, we all were dealing with the pandemic."
