Armaan Jain, who is the son of Kareena Kapoor Khan’s bua, Rima Jain had taken his dulhaniya, Anissa Malhotra home. It was his cousins, Kareena and Karisma who rocked his baraat while dancing their hearts out. For the wedding, Armaan had looked dapper in a cream-coloured sherwani with a golden-coloured safa and his bride, Anissa had complemented him in a red-coloured lehenga with detailed golden work all over it. She had accentuated her look with traditional maang teeka, double-layered gold and emerald necklace with matching earrings.
For the wedding reception, Armaan and Anissa looked like a royal couple. Anissa looked gorgeous in a silver-coloured lehenga with white stones all over it. She accentuated her look with a choker neckpiece, matching earrings and a silver headgear. Her red chooda highlighted her attire. On the other hand, Armaan complemented her in a black sherwani and teamed it with a pair of moccasins with a matching black stole. On February 4, 2020, the Jain and Malhotra family hosted a grand reception for the newly-weds, Armaan Jain and Anissa Malhotra. The reception was attended by the who’s who of Bollywood. Many sizzling couples like Malaika Arora-Arjun Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt, Akash Ambani-Shloka Mehta, Varun Dhawan-Natasha Dalal, Kunal Kemmu-Soha Ali Khan, Shah Rukh Khan-Gauri Khan and many more attended the reception. The soon to be Ambani bahu, Radhika Merchant also graced the event and posed with Anant Ambani and her would-be in-laws. Mukesh Ambani opted for a black suit while his wife, Nita Ambani looked elegant in a white ensemble and complemeted it with diamond jewellery. Nita ji's would-be bahu, Radhika Merchant looked gorgeous in a sequinned silver saree with matching blouse. She accentuated her look with a statement neckpiece and earrings. Anant Ambani complemented Radhika Merchant in a maroon kurta and white pants paired with a sleeveless maroon jacket.
Malaika graced the event with boyfriend, Arjun Kapoor. She looked stunning in an orange-red saree with matching neckpiece. She kept her look subtle with open hair and nude makeup. Complementing his lady, Arjun opted for green kurta paired with black bottoms and shoes. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor attended the event with Neetu Kapoor. Alia looked stunning in Manish Malhotra’s pastel green-coloured lehenga with pink-coloured choli and kept her look minimal with a heavy maang teeka and pink lips. Ranbir complemented her perfectly in a royal blue and white-coloured sherwani. Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal made heads turn as they twinned in black, Varun opted for a shimmery black kurta with matching bottoms. His stunning girlfriend, Natasha donned a black lehenga choli.
Akash Ambani and his wife, Shloka Mehta walked hand-in-hand looking stunning together. Shloka looked elegant in a pastel green lehenga with matching green blouse. She accentuated her look with a statement neckpiece and matching earrings. Akash opted for a maroon kurta with white pants and paired it with a blue coat. King Khan Shah Rukh Khan graced the event with his queen, Gauri Khan. Shah Rukh opted for a black pathani and Gauri complemented him in a silver gown and kept her locks open. She accentuated her look with smoky eyes and nude lips. Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu made heads turn as they came hand-in-hand at the reception. While Soha looked graceful in a floral lehenga by Shehla Khan and accentuated her look with earrings by Satyani Fine Jewels. Kunal looked suave in a green and grey indo-western outfit by Kunal Anil Tanna.
On February 4, 2020, Armaan Jain had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared a candid picture with Anissa from their wedding. Along with the picture, he had written, "Finally #anissamaangayi! Welcome, Mrs Jain!! We both are so excited to begin our life together as husband and wife and want to thank everyone for all their love and blessings. It was in July 2019, when Armaan Jain had made his relationship official with Anissa Malhotra by posting his grand romantic proposal pictures on social media. Revealing how he was eagerly waiting for that day to come, Armaan had written, “The moment I eagerly waited for since the last 7 years finally arrived... the moment in my life where I felt the most nervous...when I think of my first school exam or my first shot in front of the camera it was nothing compared to the butterflies I had in my stomach when you walked in, every sensation went numb... Everything I rehearsed flew out of my mind...I finally realized what my yoga teacher said when he meant to go blank and be in the moment... As I walked you, my most beautiful @anissamalhotra, down the aisle and went onto my knees, my heart was pounding, my mouth was dry, everything was hazy and I felt an inexplicable emotion like I did when I first met you...We’ve come a long way Jaan... fought all the odds come rain come storm (literally) Thank you for being my backbone, pillar of strength and sticking with me through thick and thin... YOU are the woman of my dreams and I am the luckiest man alive!”
Thanking their Cupid and his brother, Aadar Jain and everyone in the family for being a part of their journey, Armaan Jain had continued, “None of this would be possible without our generous parents, our adorable Cupid @aadarjain who introduced US and all our extended family i.e. our friends who were a part of yesterday and more importantly, an integral part of our beautiful journey in the last 7 years. My Armaan was to be with my Anissa forever and you said YES. I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you... Love you.” Anissa had commented on Armaan’s post that she is too, looking forward to spending the rest of her life with him, "I don't know how I got so lucky! Man of my dreams in every way. You are one of the purest people I know on this planet and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you! Thank you for the most INCREDIBLE proposal. Here's to forever for us!!!"
