The Bride Who Wore A 'Rani Pink' Lehenga With The Longest Dupatta For Her Wedding

When we were young and silly and knew nothing about being someone's Mrs, we still dreamt of becoming a bride. Mostly because of the pretty clothing and accessories that they are adorned with. We all are guilty of stealing our mommies red dupatta and wearing it as a veil. And the dream of becoming the prettiest bride grew up with us. Every time we had seen a bride we listed all the dos and dont's in our bridal wear and designed our very own bridal lehenga (all in our head).

In recent years, the wedding world has evolved and so have the brides. They are not sticking to the traditional reds and are instead, opting for all the colours from the rainbow palette. From tangerine to sky blue, they are experimenting with it all. Recently, we spotted a bride, who made headlines in a gorgeous pink lehenga with the longest dupatta.

The bride who wore pink lehenga with the longest dupatta

Meet the gorgeous bride, Deepika Grover S Sekhon, who is a pretty economist and a digital marketer. She ditched the traditional red lehenga for her big day and instead opted for her favourite colour, pink. She made a beautiful dulhan and got married in a beautiful wedding ceremony at The Westin Sohna Resort and Spa in Gurgaon, Haryana. Deepika donned a jawdropping pink lehenga from Asiana Couture.

The ensemble included vertical kalidar embroidered skirt teamed with a matching floral embroidered blouse. The lehenga featured a double dupatta that had created a rage in the bridal world. While the first dupatta was tucked carefully with a matching waist belt, the other dupatta with golden embroidery was worn as a veil and looked like a long train that features in a western gown. Deepika completed her look with coordinated stone-encrusted jewellery with green drops.

On the other hand, Deepika's groom, Harsh looked handsome in an off white sherwani, which he teamed with a pink turban and a stole. Check out their wedding pictures below:

While we loved Deepika's unique take on her wedding lehenga, it is her wedding photographer, Priyanka Kamboj Chopra, who beautifully shot the bride. Her team at Design Aqua Studio turned her big day super special by shooting it with an ace.

We loved the gorgeous pink lehenga but the trendsetter was her longest dupatta! It definitely gave competition to Priyanka Chopra's longest veil from her Christian wedding. What do you think?
