But talking specifically about exes in here, telly town’s sexiest villain, Komolika, a.k.a., Urvashi Dholakia had created headlines when she had confirmed her participation in the show with her ex. After a lot of speculations, it came about the yummy mummy of telly town will appear with her ex-beau, Anuj Sachdeva. It is soon going to be a month of getting used to witnessing the phenomenal chemistry of Urvashi and Anuj and all that we always ask ourselves is, “Why did they breakup? They look so good together!”
While Urvashi Dholakia’s twin sons, Sagar and Kshitij too think that Anuj Sachdeva is a perfect man for their mom, it was the judge of the show, Raveena Tandon’s leg-pulling that does all the trick! In a rather one-of-a-kind revelation, Raveena was seen asking Urvashi’s twin sons, one of the most-awaited questions that we had always wanted to hear. When Raveena asked, “When did you first meet your mother’s boyfriend?”, Urvashi’s son, Kshitij replied, “My brother, Sagar and I were with our set of friends downstairs. I saw Anuj passing by. And there came a time when we thought that we should go home. I rang the bell and he [Anuj] was standing right in front of me.” Upon hearing this, Urvashi hid her face in embarrassment and everybody broke into peals of laughter!
Raveena Tandon then asked Urvashi Dholakia’s sons if they have ever been ragged because their mom had a boyfriend. And pat came Kshitij’s reply, “Ma’am, something of this sort never happened because of the iconic character she had played on-screen [Komolika]. Nobody had the audacity to rag us.” The Tip Tip Barsa Paani actress then asked Urvashi, “When are you getting married?” To which, she answered, “There was a time when I wanted to get married and needed commitment, but Anuj was not ready to give me any commitment.” And bang came Anuj’s reply, “Uss time, shayad, I was not ready with the responsibility.” We wonder how this conversation ends and to find out the same, you need to be hooked on to your television screens this weekend! Recently, Urvashi Dholakia's sons, Kshitij and Sagar had opened up on their mom’s former boyfriend, Anuj Sachdeva. The boys had shared, "Anuj is a very nice person. He's perfect for our mom. Whenever he bought something for her, he would always get something for us, too. Anuj is like family to us, but we never questioned our mom about her relationship with Anuj. All we want is for her to be happy and if she is happy with Anuj, we are happy for her."
Anuj Sachdeva too, in a candid revelation, revealed why he and Urvashi Dholakia didn’t work out then, “I respect Urvashi a lot but relationships change with time: Ten years ago, when I was 25, I was not capable of taking on responsibility and hence I did not want to give her any kind of false hope. I had just come to Mumbai from Delhi and I wanted to make my career and a name of my own. Today, years later, I have understood responsibility, but the moment and time has passed.”
Coming back to Urvashi Dholakia and her then ‘masked partner’, after many speculations, the former had finally confirmed that she is participating with none other than her once ex-beau, Anuj Sachdeva. In an interview with SpotboyE, Urvashi had revealed that her family is extremely happy and supportive about the fact that she is appearing on the reality show with her ex. She had stated, “They were extremely happy about it. Urvashi Dholakia had also shared her first reaction when the makers of Nach Baliye 9 had approached her to participate in the show with her ex-lover, Anuj Sachdeva. The 40-year-old stunner had revealed, “My reaction was very normal. In fact, you will be surprised to know that I immediately said ‘yes’. I believe that when we can work with strangers, why it should be difficult to work with someone you have known for so long.”
Urvashi Dholakia had also stated in the same interview as to why she and her then-boyfriend, Anuj Sachdeva had never accepted their relationship in public. She had said, “I never accepted because once you do, a lot of speculations about your relationship start. People talk what they want to and by the time it's the couple's turn to speak on it, they are probably not in the mood to or they never get a chance to. Also, I have been very private about my personal life and thankfully the media has respected it. But now, when I finally have an opportunity to vent my heart, I am coming to you guys to do the khulaasa and tell the world, "Yeh lo ji, yeh hain humare Ex."
