Ahead of the new year 2023, cricketer, Rishabh Pant met with a soul-shaking accident in Uttarakhand. The young lad was driving towards his hometown to surprise his mother, but in the wee hours of December 30, 2022, his BMW collided with a divider and caught fire. After breaking the glass and finding his way out of the car, Rishabh was rushed to the hospital by a local driver and conductor of the Haryana roadways.
It is a widely popular rumour on the internet that Rishabh Pant had an affair with actress, Urvashi Rautela in the past. However, neither of them has accepted it, and they often take indirect jibes on each other occasionally. After his severe accident, it was Urvashi’s mom, Meera Rautela, who took to her IG feed and posted a smiling picture of the cricketer. She also penned a sweet prayer for his speedy recovery and acknowledged the dating rumours of Rishabh and her daughter, Urvashi. She wrote:
“Social media ki afwaah ek taraf aur aap ka suwasth ho ke international level pe Uttrakhand ka naam roshan karna dursi tarf. Sidhbali Baba aap par vishesh krupa kare. Aap sabhi log bhi prathna kare."

Amid the differences between Rishabh and Urvashi, Meera Rautela’s post was a shocker for their fans. As soon as the post went viral on the internet, netizens started to troll Urvashi and her mother. While some teased Meera by calling Rishabh her damad, others said the post was originally made by Urvashi from her mom’s Instagram handle. One user wrote, “Real id se aao Urvashi,” another one commented, “Damad ji likhna bhul gayi aap.”
Earlier, on January 1, 2022, Urvashi Rautela had made a stunning appearance at the airport in a black leather dress. Though she had looked every inch gorgeous, people have called her outfit over-the-top for a hospital visit. Many netizens had believed that the actress was visiting Dehradun to see Rishabh. However, in reality, she was on a vacation with her parents abroad.
