Taking to her IG handle way back on October 9, 2022, the talented actress, Rashmika Mandanna had put a picture on her feed, which featured her enjoying a swim in the pool at Bolifushi Islands, Maldives. Interestingly, her rumoured beau, Vijay Deverakonda, also shared a picture from the exact location on January 1, 2023. While the pictures shared by the duo were shared at completely different times, their fans could not help but realise the striking similarity of the pictures they posted.

Despite the two pictures being shared months apart, it was enough for the couple's loyal fans to guess they might have sneaked in a short vacation to the Maldives. Taking to the comment section of Vijay’s post, the fans pulled the leg of the couple and teased Vijay to mention Rashmika for the picture courtesy of his dashing snapshot.

However, on November 22, 2022, we stumbled upon a picture of Rashmika and Vijay, all decked up in traditional South Indian wedding ensembles. While the picture was fake and had been morphed by the couple's fans, it was enough to make all the buzz over social media.

Both Vijay and Rashmika have respectfully maintained their silence over the continuous speculations on their rumoured relationship. However, once during an interview with Hindustan Times, Rashmika expressed her annoyance when asked to comment about her relationship with Vijay Deverakonda. She mentioned that she could not fathom people’s undying interest in her personal life, despite the fact that she has tried to keep them busy by working on five films a year.
