Bollywood actor, Vindu Dara Singh is timid and introverted when it comes to talking about his marital life with his first wife, Farah Naaz and his second wife, Dina Umarova. However, in a candid conversation with a leading news portal, Vindu had shared the reason behind his divorce from Farah Naaz and the basic principles and rules he follows to have a happily married life with Dina. Apart from this, Vindu had also talked about his son, Fateh Randhawa's acting debut and much more in the interview.
For the unversed, it was during the 1990s when iconic actress, Tabu's sister, Farah Naaz had met Vindu Dara Singh for the first time on the sets of a movie. However, the two had instantly fallen in love with each other and had started dating. In 1996, Vindu and Farah had tied the marital knot, and in 1997, the much-in-love couple had welcomed their first child, a baby boy, whom they have named, Fateh. However, sadly in 2002, Vindu and Farah had parted ways. Soon, Vindu fell in love once again, this time with a model entrepreneur, Dina Umarova, and the couple had got married in 2005.

In an interview with ETimes, Vindu Dara Singh had opened up about his first wife, Farah Naaz and had also shared the reason behind their divorce for the first time. Vindu had shared that there wasn't just one reason behind his divorce with Farah and had added that it was more like a cooker situation. The actor had explained that differences and fights had started piling up in their married life, and soon they had mutually decided not to drag their marriage. Recalling the tragic time and adding how they still have each other's back even after parting ways, Vindu had explained:
"There cannot be just one reason, but you see in a marriage you don't realise when things start going wrong. The pressure is building up, and it's just a cooker-like situation. But, why drag? Why not rather part ways amicably? But, Farah and I will always be there for each other. I know that she'll be there for me if and when I need her- and the same applies to the situation if and when she needs me."
Going further in the interview, Vindu Dara Singh had talked about his interaction and meet-ups with his ex-wife, Farah Naaz, after their divorce. Answering the same, Vindu had explained that they don't eat together but wish one another on festivals. However, the doting dad had also added that when it comes to their son, Fateh, they both come together as one. He had also talked about Fateh's acting debut in Bollywood and had shared how his son's massi and iconic actress, Tabu was a constant force guiding him as an actor. He had said:
"I am in touch with her, but not too frequently. It's not that we eat and drink together. We wish each other on occasions, though. And let's not forget that we have our son Fateh. Anything concerning him, we naturally connect. Actually, I wanted him to be launched this year, but it got delayed due to the COVID pandemic. I have given him my tips too. Farah is a great mother, and with she and Tabu sitting on Fateh's head and giving him acting tips, it is a matter of time that Fateh will be launched."

At the end of the interview, Vindu Dara Singh was urged to open up about his second wife, Dina Umarova. The actor was asked to share how his married life with Dina was going and what things they do to keep their married life joyful and exciting. Reflecting on the same, Vindu had revealed three major rules that he and his wife, Dina follow in their married life, and it had helped the couple tremendously in order to be on the same page. Vindu had revealed:
"My marriage with Dina has been smooth. It's not that we don't differ and argue, but we don't keep it till the next day. We sit and talk it out before retiring for the night. We don't procrastinate and let days roll by. We sort it out. We are two individuals who are not obstinate that 'only I am right'. This is the lesson I learnt from my first marriage. In fact, I learnt three golden rules from my first marriage. 1. Admit your mistake. 2. Learn from it. 3. Don't repeat it."
