We still remember the cute announcement of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma when they had revealed their pregnancy news. 'And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021', a simple line was enough to depict their beautiful love story.
On February 1, 2021, Virat took to his Instagram handle and shared a lovely picture with his teammates. The cricketer is back from his paternity leave. In the picture, we can see a collage of three pictures, wherein Virat was seen practising with his team. Atop the picture, he wrote, "Good to be back."
A few hours ago, Anushka had shared the first-ever family picture with her little angel and had also revealed her adorable name. In the picture, we can see Anushka donning a pink hoodie with a pair of black pants and she had held her little girl in her arms, while Virat was lovingly looking at her. Along with the picture, Anushka had written, "We have lived together with love, presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one, Vamika has taken it to a whole new level. On January 11, 2021, Virat Kohli dropped a cute baby arrival announcement and shared that he has become the father of a baby girl. He took to his Instagram handle and shared a picture of a note, which can be read as "We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. During Anushka's pregnancy, Virat had perfectly supported his wifey (literally). We had seen Anushka acing a difficult Yoga asana with the help of her hubby, Virat. She had shared a picture, wherein, we could see Anushka doing head down and Virat was helping her. Alongside it, Anushka had written, "This exercise is ‘hands-down’ (and legs up) the most difficult one. #Throwback P.S. – As yoga is a big part of my life, my doctor recommended that I can do all such asanas that I was doing before I was pregnant( after a certain stage)barring twists & extreme-forward bends, but of course with the appropriate and required support. For the Shirshasana, which I have been doing for many years, I ensured that I used the wall for support and also my very able husband supporting my balance. To be extra safe. This was also done under the supervision of my yoga teacher who was virtual with me through this session. I'm so glad I could continue."
