During Nov-Dec of 2007, while Team India was staying in the hotel, Sakshi Rawat was serving as a hotel management intern, it was when the duo had first met.
In March 2008, MS Dhoni and Sakshi had started dating. However, they had kept it completely under the wraps till their wedding.
The much-in-love couple had tied the knot on July 4, 2010, in Dehradun. For the wedding, Sakshi had picked a red and green Sabyasachi lehenga and together they were looking picture-perfect.
Since then, they were often spotted on various cricket grounds and stadiums together. The loving wifey is often seen cheering for the cricketer from the VIP lounge area.
On February 6, 2015, while he was playing ODI World Cup in Australia, his wife, Sakshi had given birth to their daughter. They lovingly call her Ziva Dhoni.
On January 4, 2017, when MS resigned as a captain from ODI and T20 International, she penned, “@msdhoni There are no mountains high enough to stop you from climbing.Proud of you!!”
In December 2018, a picture of MS tying Sakshi's sandal straps went viral on the internet, and this indeed spoke volumes about the hubby's love for his darling wife.
After CSK won IPL 2021, Dhoni's wife and daughter were seen hugging him very cutely on the national TV, which set pure family goals.
Sakshi has tattooed 'MS' on her left hand and we can see ‘Mahi’ (Dhoni’s nickname) written in Devanagari just below her left ear. She is also the CEO of Dhoni Entertainment.
On July 4, 2021, Sakshi shared a glimpse of a brand new vintage car in blue and white colour parked at their home and had written, "Thank you for the anniversary gift", atop it.
Once in an interview, MS Dhoni had said, "I tell my wife she is only the third most important thing after my country and my parents, in that order." But he also never fails to do any hubby duties.
Sakshi had once revealed the most cherished moments with MS. She had said, "When he got honoured, the Padma Bhushan. When he got his honorary rank as a lieutenant colonel and then the World Cup 2011."
