Athiya Shetty and her entire family are in seventh heaven with the arrival of the actress' little baby girl. From Suneil Shetty to mamu, Ahan Shetty, everyone has changed their schedule to follow their little princess's routine. For the unversed, Athiya, on March 24, 2025, delivered a happy, healthy baby girl and shared the announcement with her and her husband, KL Rahul's millions of fans.
On June 2, 2025, Ahan took to his Instagram handle and posted two pictures with his sister, Athiya Shetty's daughter, Evaarah. In the silhouette picture, we can see Ahan holding Evaarah in his arms as he is feeding her milk from the milk bottle. He also had her burp cloth on his shoulder. The actor was seen cradling her while doing the same. He captioned the photos as:
"On Duty (with a milk bottle emoji and an evil eye emoji)"
A child brings happiness to the family, especially a baby girl. In India, a daughter is considered Goddess Lakshmi, and Bollywood actor Suneil Shetty is super happy as his daughter now has her own daughter. On Athiya Shetty's baby arrival announcement, the elated nanu commented with a heart and a blue evil eye emoji to ward off all the buri nazar. Athiya's brother, Ahan Shetty, also commented with the same emojis.
On March 24, 2025, Athiya delivered her first child, a baby girl. Taking to her Instagram handle, she shared a collaborative post with her husband, KL Rahul. The post had a beautiful illustration of two swans in a pond. Below it was written:
"Blessed with a baby girl, 24-3-2025, Athiya and Rahul."
On World Health Day, Suneil Shetty talked about the importance of good health. In an interview with ETimes, he shared that he takes care of his fitness to make sure that he can play with his granddaughter and not tire out. He added that he focuses on training his abs and doesn't haunch or drag his feet. He said:
"A lot of kids are doing anabolic steroids and that’s an absolute no, because over a period it will tell you. I’m 60 plus and the only reason I train my abs is to make sure that I walk straight, I don’t hunch, and I don’t drag my feet. Tomorrow I’ll be able to play with my grandchild without having to take a break every two seconds, because the child’s energy is going to be different.
Suneil further stated that he works out daily, and it is blissful. He stated that he is now looking forward to coming back home and spending time with his wife, Mana and now, it is his granddaughter. He said:
"When you train regularly, the dopamine and the adrenaline that you get after a workout is bliss. There are certain things that you have to be excited and continue to look forward to. I look forward to coming back home and spending time with Mana. My biggest excitement in my life, right now, is that child."
