Months after their divorce, Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth posed for a family pic with their son, Yatra, as they came together on his special day.
Dhanush, one of the most famous actors, continues to rule the headlines for one reason or another. He got married to Rajinikanth's daughter, Aishwarya Rajinikanth back in 2004 in a grand wedding soiree in Chennai. The couple also has two kids, Yathra and Linga. Well, it was in 2022, when they revealed their decision to walk separate ways as husband and wife. And it was last year in November, when Dhanush and Aishwarya officially got divorced. Months after the same, the ex-couple reunited on their son, Yathra's special day.
Taking to his IG handle, Dhanush shared two adorable photos as he and his ex-wife, Aishwarya accompanied their son on his graduation day. The trio looked the happiest as they shared a hug. Aishwarya looked pretty in a beige-toned dress, while Dhanush opted for a white shirt and black pants. The ex-couple looked delighted as they hugged their son to celebrate his win. Sharing the photo, Dhanush captioned the post as 'Proud Parents'. For the unversed, Aishwarya and Dhanush, although they parted ways, continue to co-parent their kids.
There is no denying the fact that Aishwarya and Dhanush are doting parents to their kids, Yatra and Linga who were born in 2006 and 2010 respectively. Earlier, Yatra's class 12 result surafced online, which proves that the couple, although they are separated take care of their kids. Yathra has made his parents proud as he reportedly scored 569 out of 600, with 90 plus marks in each subject.
For the unversed, it was back in 2022, when Dhanush and Aishwarya announced to their fans about their wish to walk separate ways as husband and wife. They shared a similar post on their respective social media handles and revealed that after 18 years of togetherness and witnessing different phases of life as friends, partners, husband-wife and parents, they had decided to part ways with each other. The couple continued to co-parent their kids. However, it was on November 27, 2024, when reports claimed that the court had granted their divorce. Reportedly, both of them were present during the hearing, and they expressed their wish to part ways on mutual terms before the judge, after which their divorce was granted.
Soon after Dhanush and Aishwarya announced their separation, several speculations started taking up the headlines. While some of these speculations claimed the possible reason for the duo's split, some others dealt with the buzz of their reconciliation. A few reports claimed that Dhanush and Aishwarya just got separated and might reconcile after a while. The reports also suggested that Dhanush and Aishwarya would go for divorce only when one of them would wish to get married for the second time. Dhanush and Aishwarya never spoke much about this matter, and they have always replied with utmost respect whenever they got questioned about each other, and in 2024, the couple got legally divorced, as reported.
