On the occasion of Father's Day, Kiara Advani shared an adorable glimpse of her baby shower bash, and penned a note for father-to-be, Sidharth Malhotra.
Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra are busy nesting for their little bundle of joy. Earlier this year, the couple announced their pregnancy in the cutest way with crochet booties. Now, Kiara, who rarely shares glimpses of her married life with her fans, posted her first-ever photo from her baby shower, and it is too cute for words.
On the occasion of Father's Day, Kiara, who doesn't share glimpses of her happy moments due to duh-uh, evil eye, shared a quick photo of her baby shower. To wish, Sidharth, Kiara dropped a photo with him. The mom-to-be was dressed up in a yellow-hued dress and radiated pregnancy glow. On the other hand, Sidharth looked handsome as usual. Sidharth and Kiara were posing with their baby shower cake, which had an 'Oh Baby' cake topper. It had butterfly and floral motifs on it.
The parents-to-be were seen wishing for something with closed eyes just before blowing out the candles. We also loved the colourful pastel flower bouquet. Sharing the photo, and other photos with her father and father-in-law, Kiara wrote a heart-melting wishes for them, which can be read as:
"To the man who raised me with patience, strength, and so much love, You will always be my first hero… and probably the only person who still answers my calls on the first ring. To the man who raised my husband, thank you for shaping the man I get to build a life with. And to my husband, who’s about to become a dad, I already know our child is the luckiest. Happy Father’s Day to the incredible dads in my life."
On May 11, 2025, Sidharth also took to his Instagram handle and posted lovely photos with his mother and mother-in-law. However, he didn't miss to include his wife, who is also soon going to be a mommy. Sharing adorable photos with all three of them, Sidharth penned a note for Kiara and welcomed her as the newest member of the mommy club. He wrote:
"Love You Mom. It all begins with you, but this Mother’s Day feels a little more special. Because now it’s not just about the moms I look up to, but also the one I get to walk this new chapter with. To my mother, my mother-in-law, and the newest member of this club, Ki. Happy Mother's Day!
It was in 2019, when promoting her film, Jugjugg Jeeyo, Kiara Advani was questioned about family planning. As per a report by KoiMoi, the actress cutely replied that she only wanted to get pregnant so that she could eat whatever she wanted and don't bother. Kiara is always on a strict diet due the health regime she follows. She said:
"I only want to get pregnant so that I can eat whatever I want and let go,” she admitted with a laugh."
During the same conversation, Kiara revealed whether she preferred twins or a specific gender. Kiara responded that she just wants healthy children. She added that in an ideal world, she would love to have one boy and one girl to complete her family.
