A netizen on Reddit shared that Mrunal Thakur's PR team reportedly shared an article related to her casting in 'Fauji' opposite, Prabhas.
Famous Bollywood actress, Mrunal Thakur, in August 2024, had already declared that she was not a part of Prabhas starrer, Fauji. There were earlier reports doing the rounds of pictures of both the stars being shared on social media, where the caption spoke about everyone being excited to watch Prabhas and Mrunal Thakur in Fauji. In the comments section, Mrunal strictly wrote that she was sorry to be a vibe killer, but she is not a part of the movie. Now, a netizen has spilled some tea on Mrunal's role in Fauji and shared that Mrunal's team paid several meme and relevant pages to amplify and escalate the narrative, so that the film undergoes a casting change eventually, and Imanvi is replaced from the film.
A Redditor shared some crisp information about Mrunal Thakur and shared that she has not yet been confirmed for the Allu Arjun, Atlee film. However, she did give a look test recently. Few others did so too, so she's just being considered as one of the choices, as of now. No firm decision has been taken on her casting yet. However, her PR team's idea to release an article about her casting has upset the movie team, as this looks unprofessional on her part.
The Redditor also shared that Mrunal approved the article and also ensured that the agency used Deepika Padukone's name in the article to make DP look like a third lead and project Mrunal as the main lead of the film. Although, Deepika is in talks too, but so are several other girls. However, only time will tell who ultimately bags the film, as every mainstream actress wants to be associated with the project.
One user commented, "Casting decisions get changed often and Mrunal is still under consideration. She is not snatching films & she can't either, this just looks like an attack as everyone was excited after the recent post on her." Another one wrote, "If she’s in talks for the film, of course her PR will publicise it, that’s basic."

Mrunal's cameo presence in Kalki 2898 AD was also appreciated and was loved for her roles in Sita Ramam, Super 30, Toofaan, Batla House, Love Sonia, Ghost Stories, to name a few.
