Pankaj Tripathi Doesn't Know Much About Love, Says, 'I'm From Bihar, Our Quota Of Romance Is Very..'

And there is hardly anyone who is not aware of his spectacular portrayal of 'Madhav Mishra' in Criminal Justice. The actor has received immense love from the audience due to his exceptional acting skills and grounded nature. However, the actor is a little tight-lipped when it comes to expressing love himself.

Pankaj Tripathi revealed he doesn't know much about love

Pankaj Tripathi recently appeared on Kapil Sharma's The Great Indian Kapil Show and once again left the audience in awe. The actor graced the show alongside the full cast of Metro… In Dino, including Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Konkona Sen Sharma, Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and the film's director, Anurag Basu. The episode was filled with fun, turning it into a must-watch segment full of laughter and camaraderie.

However, it was the playful moment between host, Kapil Sharma and actor, Pankaj Tripathi, that left everyone in awe. During the show, Kapil was seen praising the actors for their chemistry before teasing Pankaj about his romantic scenes. The comedian asked the actor if he enjoyed the love angle in his acting career, to which Pankaj agreed before quickly adding about his martial life.

During the conversation, Pankaj Tripathi revealed that he knows little about romance. He shared that his wife was the only person he fell for, and then he ended up marrying her. The actor even made a lighthearted joke about his romance quota being very small, given that he was from Bihar. He was quoted as saying:

"I don’t know much about romance, as the only person I ever fell in love with is my wife, and I ended up marrying her. I am from Bihar, and our quota of romance is, anyway, very little. However, I’m happy that I got to marry the person I romanced with."

Pankaj Tripathi on dating his now-wife, Mridula Tripathi

During an earlier conversation with IANS, Pankaj Tripathi opened up about dating his now-wife, Mridula. He revealed that during their courting period, there wasn't much technology, and they didn't have mobile phones. Pankaj added that the only connection they experienced was sitting in public transport. He shared that back in the day, he would receive a call from Mridula precisely at 8 PM, and he would spend his entire day for that one call. He was quoted as saying:

"In our time, there wasn’t much technology. We didn’t have mobile phones. There was no technology in every hand. When we left the house, the only ‘technology’ we experienced was sitting in a public transport bus. I remember back in my hostel days — at 8 o'clock at night, I used to get a call from her (wife Mridula), from the landline in the canteen. The whole day was spent waiting for that one call at 8 PM."
