Amelia’s mom, Lisa Rinna, was born on July 11, 1963, in Newport Beach, California. She is an American actress, TV personality, and model who rose to fame with roles like 'Billie Reed' in Days of Our Lives and 'Taylor McBride' in Melrose Place. She starred in the American reality show, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, from 2014 to 2023. Lisa also appeared on The Celebrity Apprentice and Dancing with the Stars.
In 2007, Lisa made her Broadway debut in Chicago as 'Roxie Hart' 2007. She hosted the TV talk show Soap Talk from 2002 to 2006, and earned four Emmy nominations. Besides being an actress, TV personality and model, Lisa is an author. She wrote three books that include Starlit, The Big, Fun, Sexy Sex Book, and Rinnavation.
Amelia’s dad, Harry Hamlin, was born on October 30, 1951, in Pasadena, California. He is an American actor, author, and entrepreneur. He is widely known for his role as 'Perseus' in the 1981 movie, Clash of the Titans and his reprised role in the 2007 video game, God of War II by Santa Monica Studio. He became a household name with his role as 'Michael Kuzak' in the TV legal drama series, L.A. Law. This show helped him earn three Golden Globe nominations. He earned a Primetime Emmy nomination for his portrayal of 'Jim Cutler' in the TV series, Mad Men.
Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin have been happily married for more than two decades. The Hollywood A-list 'IT' couple’s love story began with a chance encounter in 1992. The duo first saw each other at a restaurant when Hamlin was married to Nicollette Sheridan. The actor was immediately smitten by Lisa’s beauty.
A few months later, after Harry had separated from Nicollette Sheridan, he and Lisa met again. The latter at that time worked at a glasses store, and after closing the store one day, Lisa went to drop off the keys to the owner, who was dining with Harry. She joined the duo, and sparks flew instantly that evening. In 1993, the duo made their relationship official by appearing at a red carpet event. However, they took five years to walk the aisle.
On March 29, 1997, Lisa and Harry tied the knot in a candlelit tent in their Hollywood Hills backyard. The couple welcomed two daughters, Delilah Belle in 1998 and Amelia Gray in 2001. Speaking to People in 2018, Lisa said:
"We are crazy about each other, and you can't create that, you can't make it — it either is, or it isn't … I think you either really dig somebody, or you don't. And I'm so blessed, we are so blessed that that happened for us."
