Isabelle Tate had recently appeared in the premiere of the 9-1-1: Nashville series. She was seen as 'Julie' in the show's pilot episode. Her character was an attendee of a bachelorette party, who ended up getting a dance from the stripper-turned-firefighter, 'Blue'. Actor Hunter McVey, who played the firefighter, told People how nervous he was on the first day of his shoot and recalled Isabelle's encouragement. He expressed his remorse at the young actress' death and shared condolences with her family and stated:

"I was shocked to hear the news. I didn’t know Isabelle prior to filming, but I couldn’t have asked for someone better to work with on one of my first ever days on set. I was terrified, nervous, and after each take we would get to exchange a couple words which were always supportive from her...I’m thankful I got a chance to work with Isabelle and that a part of her will live on forever in the pilot episode of 9-1-1 Nashville. Prayers for her family."

I've come to terms that if I want to live my life to the fullest, I need to use a wheelchair at times."
