Aahana Kumra Reacts To Her Fight With Dhanashree Verma, 'Only Knew Her Because Of Her Marriage..'

Dhanashree Verma has been in the news for participating in the reality show, Rise and Fall. While her fans love her, some find her pretentious and believe she only talks about her broken marriage on the show. In fact, on the show, she had a fall-out with co-contestant, Aahana Kumra and got into a verbal spat. Recently, Aahan spoke about the same and what led to their feud.

Aahan Kumra opened up about her feud with Dhanashree Verma

Recently, in an interview with The Free Press Journal, Aahana Kumra opened up about her feud with Dhanashree Verma. The actress stated that she had no idea who Dhanashree was and only knew her because of her marriage to the cricketer, Yuzvendra Chahal. She even stated that she never once talked about her marriage, as she was completely uninterested. She said:

"First and foremost, knowing somebody for a week does not mean you know that person. I have absolutely no idea who she is. I only knew her because of her marriage. In the first week of knowing her, I never once spoke about her marriage. Not once. I was disinterested. I am not interested in her personal life."

Ahana further added that she comes from a space where she thinks a woman might be done with the chapter and genuinely wants to move to her next chapter. So, she never mentioned her marriage while talking to her. In fact, it was Dhanashree who kept talking about her divorce and denied labelling her. She added:

"I come from a space where, as a woman, I feel that maybe this person wants to move on and start a new chapter of their life. So I never once spoke about her life.. In fact, because she kept mentioning it, I didn’t want to talk about it. And I never labeled her at all. I’ve not labeled most people in the show, and honestly, if anyone labeled me, that’s on them, not me."

For the unversed, Dhanashree and Aahana got into a verbal spat after the latter stated that she was playing a victim card on the show Rise and Fall. The clash happened after Dhanashree made several statements about her marriage and divorce. The heated conversations led to Dhanashree breaking down.

When Yuzvendra reacted to Dhanashree Verma's accusation that he cheated on her within two months of their marriage

It is worth mentioning that Dhanashree claimed on the show that she caught Yuzvendra cheating on her after two months of their marriage. To this, the cricketer stated that he is a sports person and doesn't cheat. He mentioned that if he had cheated on her within two months, their relationship would not have lasted long. He even made a blunt statement on how Dhanashree's home is running with his name. He said:

"I am a sportsperson and I do not cheat. Agar koi two months mein hi cheat karta toh itna lamba relationship chalta kya? For me, this chapter is over, done and dusted. I have moved forward with my life and everyone else should do, too. Agar two months mein cheat hua hota toh kaun continue karta? Main pehle bhi bol chuka hun ki mai past se nikal chuka hun. But some people are still stuck there. Abhi bhi kai log uss cheez ko pakde hue hain, abhi bhi unka ghar mere naam se chal raha hai toh they can continue doing that. I am not concerned or affected."
