Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai's personal life may reportedly be in a mess, but he revealed that he would do anything for his daughter, Aaradhya.

Abhishek Bachchan Opens Up On Being There For Daughter Aaradhya, 'I Need To Do Whatever..'

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan got married in 2007, and in 2011, they were blessed with Aaradhya. Junior AB will now be seen in I Want To Talk, directed by Shoojit Sircar. In a conversation with the movie's director, Abhishek revealed that he would do anything to be there for Aaradhya Bachchan. For the unversed, the trailer of I Want To Talk is about a man battling with his repressed feelings while his life remains uncertain. His family members support him, but he cannot express his emotions. He also has a complicated relationship with his daughter, who finds him too interfering in her life.

Abhishek Bachchan tells Shoojit Sircar that he would do anything for Aaradhya

Abhishek plays 'Arjun' in I Want To Talk. During an interview with Shoojit, he said his character 'Arjun' has only 100 days to live, coupled with what his daughter told him, ‘Will you dance at my wedding?’ Abhishek noted that for any father, giving your daughter away is one of the high points of anyone's life. It’s something that one looks forward to and plans for, whatever one's relationship with one's child is. He is motivated to be there for his kid, and he’s willing to do whatever it takes because of his promise. He resonated the same with his daughter Aaradhya and said:

"My daughter is still much younger than (the character), but for a father to feel that emotion of ‘I need to do whatever it takes to be there for my daughter’, is one of the main reasons for deciding."

Abhishek Bachchan on the influence of movies in his personal life

Abhishek, going ahead in the interview, revealed his films do not affect his personal life. However, his personal life is decided by the type of films he does. However, as a father, he understands the dream of many dads who want to see their daughters get married. Shoojit also added the film opened his eyes to the bond he shared with his daughter. However, Abhishek does not remember any film of him or any character which had played any influence in his private life. Once he is in the film, it’s about being as truthful to the character as possible.

Abhishek, once drew inspiration from Aaradhya's book

Abhishek, remembered a time during the pandemic when he had learnt a deep meaning from one of the children's books of his daughter, Aaradhya. The character of the book revealed that the bravest word in the world is "help" as it talks about the courage to face challenges in life. In the words of Abhishek:

"That means you are not ready to give up. I will do whatever it takes to carry on.”

Abhishek Bachchan on self-reflection of his life

Abhishek, continuing the chat with Shoojit, told him that, in his second innings, a large part of him is doing cinema, which he chooses to do. As seen in the trailer, Arjun is given 100 days to live as he fights cancer. The movie also stars Johnny Lever and Ahilya Bamroo.
