Paul Daniel Frehley, famously known as Ace Frehley, passed away on October 16, 2025, after complications that were caused by a fall a few weeks back. Earlier, speculations were rife about his demise, but his representative dismissed the earlier speculations and revealed that the lead guitarist of KISS was alive and was on life support. However, on October 16, 2025, Ace Frehley's family, through a statement, confirmed the news of his passing at the age of 74. Ace Frehley started playing guitar, reportedly from a young age, and it was in 1973 when he joined the band KISS. Ace was known for his space-themed persona, which brought him the title, 'The Spaceman'. Following his divorce from Jeanetter, Ace Frehley reportedly started dating Audrey Hamilton, a groupie. While Ace Frehley and Audrey's relationship started back in 1979, it was short-lived and ended only two years later in 1981.

Following his breakup with Audrey Hamilton, Ace Frehley started dating Wendy Moore. The couple reportedly started dating in 1998, as reported. It was in the same year that Wendy first met Ace at the Key Club on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. In her book, Wendy revealed that their first meeting was immediate and intimate, and on the day she met him, she accompanied him into his home, from where their relationship escalated.

Over the time of their relationship, Wendy was more like a personal assistant to Ace. Wendy and Ace had a two-year-long relationship, and after their breakup, she released a tell-all book, Into the Void… Ace Frehley detailed several key and private details about her time with the guitarist, along with the hardships she had to navigate. She reportedly was dragged into using drugs. Wendy reportedly revealed in her book about being emotionally void while being with Frehley due to the strains their relationship had caused by the guitarist's substance abuse and lifestyle.

Ace Frehley, although he never got married after his marriage to Janette Trerotola ended, was engaged twice after that. Ace Frehley met Rachel Gordon back in 2008-2009, in San Diego, as reported. The couple started dating shortly after that. Apart from being romantically involved, Rachel and Ace had creative collaboration as they worked together on several of his music ventures. In the following interviews of the later years, Ace referred to Rachel as his 'fiancée', while sharing that they exchanged rings around the year 2010.

The couple had been together for several years before parting ways. The duo's breakup was a messy one, and it was all public, leading to it ending on a sour note. During mid-2019, Rachel filed a restraining order against Ace, claiming threats, financial control and emotional abuse. Ace countered with his own claims of being harassed, although he didn't publicly reply to the claims, he answered through his legal team. After his breakup with Rachel, Ace Frehley found love again in the arms of a teacher, Lara Cove. While it can't be confirmed whether they were engaged or not, the duo shared an adorable bond. In several of his interviews, Ace often described his relationship with Lara as a happy place. In 2024, the couple revealed that they had amicably parted ways. The reason for their breakup isn't known; however, afterwards, the lead guitarist of KISS chose to keep his personal life under wraps.
