Adnan Sami and Asha Bhosle have known each other for decades, and over the years, the two have developed a warm, familial bond. Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Adnan shared a carousel of pictures from his studio session, where music history might just be in the making. 

One of the highlights of the post was his little daughter, Medina Sami Khan, planting a tender kiss on Asha Bhosle’s cheek, capturing a moment that melted hearts. In his caption, Adnan paid tribute to the evergreen Bhosle, calling her more than just a collaborator. He wrote:

“Having Asha ji in the studio has always felt like home. She’s been like family, guiding and inspiring me from the start, like a mother. But this time was extra special, my daughter Medina Jan was with me, watching us record… Yes… Something new is about to come!! The other photos in the post featured moments in the studio shared between the Tera Chehra singer and Asha Bhosle. Adnan Sami finally shares the reason behind leaving Pakistan

On May 4, 2025, Adnan Sami, a former Pakistani citizen, took to his X handle and, for the first time, opened up about his reason for leaving the country behind. After the heinous Pahalgam attack, the singer shared an encounter with some young men while taking a stroll on the streets of Baku, Azerbaijan. 

Taking a stand against the Pakistani army, Adnan Sami shared how the young men appreciated his decision to move to another country. They told him they despised the army for having ruined Pakistan, to which Adnan responded with a powerful reply. Recalling the moment, he wrote:

"Met some very sweet Pakistani boys while walking on the beautiful streets of Baku. They said, ‘Sir, you are very lucky. You left Pakistan at a good time. We also want to change our citizenship. We hate our army. They have destroyed our country!’ I replied, ‘I knew this long ago!’"
