Akshay Kumar's movie, Hera Pheri 3, was all set to make people's minds blow with the deep-rooted nostalgia the franchise carries. However, while the fans were eager to see the movie on the silver screens with the return of 'Raju', 'Shyam' and 'Baburao', it ended up creating controversy around. It all began with Paresh Rawal's decision to exit the movie, even after taking part in a promotional shoot, that included Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty. Later, Akshay Kumar's team sued Paresh for Rs. 25 crore over breaching the contract. Well, the controversy has since then occupied the headlines. Now, Akshay Kumar has finally broken his silence on this matter.
Recently, Akshay Kumar took part in the trailer launch event of Housefull 5, wherein he looked handsome in a white shirt and jeans. During the event, the actor was asked about the controversy that erupted around Hera Pheri 3. To this, the actor gave a graceful answer. He said that he wouldn't appreciate using terms like 'foolish' for his co-star, and that would not be right. Akshay might have said this in line with the media's question. However, he further stated that he and Paresh have been working together for 32 years, and they are each other's good friends.
Akshay further praised Paresh and called him a 'great actor' and mentioned that he admires Paresh dearly. During the same conversation, Akshay Kumar stated that whatever happened, the launch event was not the right place to talk about the same. The actor further called this a serious matter, which will be handled by the court. Akshay further refused to speak about the same matter.
The controversy around Hera Pheri 3 began with Paresh Rawal's exit from the movie, even after he was part of a promotional shoot with Akshay and Suniel. Suniel Shetty further shared that Paresh's abrupt exit has left Akshay and him clueless. However, talking about Paresh Rawal's exit from the movie, his legal team stated that the decision came from the veteran actor's side after the production team was unable to provide necessary elements like finalised script, screenplay or final agreement, which are extremely needed to an actor.
To note, this is not the first time that Paresh has quit the sequel version of a movie. Previously, he has left the movie, OMG 2, and was replaced by Pankaj Tripathi. While giving the reason, Paresh shared that he was not impressed by the script and wouldn't be a part of a sequel, which is made for commercial gain only.
