After capturing hearts with Pushpa: The Rise, Allu Arjun has started promoting his much-awaited sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule. The actor who made everyone dance with him on Srivalli in 2021 has promised his fans that the sequel will also wow them. After almost three years, the wait has ended, as the film is set to be globally released in December 2024.
Promotions for Pushpa 2: The Rule are in full swing, but fans have noticed the absence of actor Fahadh Faasil during the promotions. Before the speculations sparked any baseless rumours, Fahadh's co-star, Allu Arjun, addressed his absence, putting an end to the suspense. The actor was at a pre-release event of Pushpa 2: The Rule in Kochie when he took a moment to praise his co-stars.
Allu took to the stage and praised Rashmika Mandanna for her dedication to the series. However, the highlight of the event was Allu Arjun's shout-out to Fahadh Faasil. He shared that for the first time in his career, he had the chance to work with the biggest Malayalam actor, Fahadh Faasil. He added that he missed him and wished they were at the event together. He also promised the fans that they would love Fahadh's role in the film and it would make them all proud. He said:
"For the first time in all my films, I have worked with one of the biggest Malayalam actors, our FaFa. I actually miss seeing him today. I really wish we were both standing here in Kerala today. That would have been an iconic thing. My brother, thank you! I wish we were here together. I wish you all the best. This is your house. I’m telling all the Keralites here today that FaFa rocked the show in Pushpa 2. You guys will love him, and he will make every Keralite proud throughout the world."

After Allu Arjun's words comforted the fans looking forward to Fahadh Faasil in the film, he also showed his appreciation for the director. In the same speech, Allu credited Pushpa 2: The Rule's director, Sukumar, with shaping his career. He shared that Sukumar gave him his big break with Arya in 2004, so the credit for his success goes to him and the love he has shown Allu Arjun. He shared:
"It was actually Sukumar who gave me Arya and that film started my market in Malayalam. The entire credit goes to Arya, and from then till Pushpa you have shown me love."

Pushpa 2: The Rule is the sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise and is set to hit the screens worldwide on December 5. The title film remains one of the most hyped films even after three years of its release with its catchy dialogue and danceable song tracks. The film, directed by Sukumar, marks the return of Allu Arjun as the antihero 'Pushpa', alongside Rashmika Mandanna as 'Srivalli' and Fahadh Fassil as 'SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat'.
