Recently, Amitabh's grandson, Agastya Nanda made his acting debut with Zoya Akhtar's film, The Archies and he has been grabbing a lot of attention for the same. On December 13, 2023, the official Instagram handle of Sony TV dropped a video of Amitabh Bachchan from the Kaun Banega Crorepati 15 sets. In the video, the actor can be seen interacting with the cast of The Archies. However, it was Amitabh's adorable revelation about his grandson, Agastya Nanda that caught our attention. In the video, Amitabh Bachchan can be seen sharing that he held Agastya for the first time after five minutes of his birth. The actor also mentioned that Agastya used to touch his beard in childhood. "Acha sayad bahut logo ko pata nahi hai ye hamari beti ke bete hai. Inke paida hone ke paanch minute bad hum inko aese pakde the. Inki ek adat thi, ye ek ungali se hamari dadi aese chute hai. Ab ye ar bade ho gaye kalakar ban gaye."

In the same video, Agastya can be seen buttering his nanu, Amitabh Bachchan. He can be seen requesting his loving nanu to ask easy questions in KBC. However, the host, Amitabh Bachchan said that his buttering will not work on the show.

On December 5, 2023, the makers of the film, The Archies hosted a star-studded screening. The event was attended by the renowned faces of the industry, including Agastya Nanda's family. It was indeed an important moment for the Bachchan family, and each member of the clan arrived to extend their support to their lad. For the event, the Bachchan family twinned in black-coloured ensembles, except Navya Naveli Nanda, who looked stunning in a red outfit.

On December 7, 2023, Amitabh Bachchan dropped an adorable picture on his Instagram handle from the premiere night of the film, The Archies. In the monochromatic picture, the veteran actor could be seen posing with his son, Abhishek and his grandson, Agastya. The trio looked happy as they posed happily for the camera. Moreover, they looked handsome in their respective ensembles. Sharing the picture, Amitabh Bachchan penned a heartfelt note for his grandson, which could be read as:
