An Emotional Anurag Kashyap Hugs Daughter, Aaliyah At Her Mehendi, Dances With Khushi And Vedang

Anurag Kashyap's darling daughter, Aaliyah Kashyap, is all set to marry her long-term boyfriend, now-fiance, Shane Gregoire. The bride-to-be has been impressing us with her gorgeous looks as the pre-wedding festivities, filled with joy and excitement, are in full swing. After Haldi and Cocktail, it was time for the couple's Mehendi ceremony. Aaliyah and Shane serve pure couple goals in twinning teal-hued traditional outfits with a twist. However, it was Anurag Kashyap's emotional reaction to his daughter's wedding that stole the show.

Anurag Kashyap has been married twice, once to Aarti Bajaj and then to Kalki Koechlin, but has only one daughter from his first wedding. Aaliyah is the apple of his eyes, and like every other father, he is very emotional about his daughter's engagement. For the day, Anurag donned a parrot green-hued sherwani and Nehru jacket with pyjama. Aaliyah Kashyap shared glimpses from the mehendi ceremony, where Anurag Kashyap hugged her and bawled his eyes out.

In the video, Anurag Kashyap hugged Aaliyah, who had her head tucked in her daddy's neck, and the father-daughter duo twirled and danced. The duo was visibly emotional but did not say a word and just danced around. Anurag Kashyap was also seen saying something to his daughter's ears.

For her day's look, Aaliyah harmoniously combined a teal lehenga with intricate golden artwork, zari , and motif work. The blouse, with its plunging neckline, was elegantly paired with a golden necklace, bangle, chandbalis , and maang teeka. Aaliyah's choice of soft, dewy makeup, glossy lips, and well-defined brows added a finishing touch to her ensemble.
