Anjali Raghav On Why She Was Smiling As Pawan Singh Touched Her Waist, 'Unko Bhagwan Bol Rahe The..'

Haryanvi actress and singer, Anjali Raghav was embroiled in a controversy after Bhojpuri superstar, Pawan Singh touched her inappropriately during an event. For the uninitiated, the two recently collaborated on the song, Saiya Seva Kare. The two were in Lucknow promoting their song, when Pawan Singh inappropriately touched Anjali Raghav, sparking massive outrage.

Anjali Raghav reveals the real reason for smiling and laughing while Pawan Singh inappropriately touched her

Anjali shared a series of videos addressing Pawan Singh's demeaning behaviour towards her. In the video, she claimed she is extremely disturbed and has been receiving messages questioning why she didn't react immediately. Some even went on to say that Anjali was enjoying all the attention. Anjali clarified and said:

"Kuch memes par likh rahe hai yeh toh has rahi thi, maje le rahi thi. Kya koi public mujhe aise touch karke jayega toh mujhe khushi hogi, mujhe maje aayege? Jab mai Lucknow mein gayi mai stage par thi mai public se baat kar rahi thi. Pawan Singh ji ne mujhe bola idher kuch laga hua hai."

Anjali stated that she thought her blouse had a tag, and Pawan Singh was pointing at it. But to make things look normal, she was trying to laugh it off. She admitted that when she asked her team member if something was on her blouse, they denied that there was anything on it. She said:

"Usse thuri der pehle meri saree ke neeche tag laga rahe gya tha. Toh mujhe laga shyd mere blouse mein bhi tag laga rahe gya hai. Mai hass kar us cheej ko daba rahi thi ki agar mere tag laga bhi hai toh jis time mai public se baat kr rahi hoon us time na bol kar baad mein boli ja sakti hai. Isliye mai us cheej ko daba rahi thi. Mai ne has kar tala ignore kara hai or fir mai ne jaa kar public se baat ki. Baad mein jab mai ne apne team member se jaa kar pucha ki kya laga hai toh unhone kaha kuch bhi nai laga tha. Or mai ne dekha sach mein kuch bhi nahi laga tha."

Anjali revealed why she didn't react to Pawan Singh's inappropriate touch on the stage

Anjali further revealed that she was getting angry the way Pawan Singh touched her, but the entire crowd was his fan, and they were treating him like a God and touching his feet. Anjali shared that no one would have supported her. In fact, she even got a call where a person threatened her and asked her not to say a word against the Bhojpuri star. She was quoted as saying:

"Ab mujhe bahut jada bura laga gussa aaya or rona bhi aaya. Jitna bhi crowd tha unka fanbase tha, unko bhagwan bol rahe the unke pairo mein gir rahe the. Agar mai kuch bhi bolti toh kya vo log mujhe support karte. Mai ghar aayi toh dekha yeh bahut bada matter ban chuka hai. Mai ne unse contact kra kisi ne mera phone nai pick kiya. Na kisi ne mera haal pucha. Fir kisi ka call aaya Pawan Singh ki PR team bahut strong hai kuch mat likhna uske baare mein vo ulta tumhare baare mein bahut bol dege. Kisi ladki ko touch karna uski permission ke bina hi galat hai. Or fir is tarah se touch karna hadd se jada galat hai."

Pawan Singh apologised for his behaviour towards Anjali

After this, Pawan Singh took to his Instagram stories, and apologised for his behaviour. He stated that he was not able to see Anjali's Instagram Live. He apologised if his action affected her. However, he had no wrong intention towards her.
