Anup Soni Reveals Raj Babbar Did His Background Check Before Getting His Daughter, Juhi Married

TV actor, Anup Soni and actress, Juhi Babbar have been married for like 14 years. They have been blessed with a 12-year-old son named, Imaan Soni. Both of them had a tough time in their first marriage, and in a recent conversation, they shared interesting details related to their relationship that also included a revelation made by Anup on Juhi and Prateik Babbar's dad, Raj Babbar. It was during an interview with Fever FM, that Anup shared his experience of meeting Raj Babbar. Anup was ready with the set of questions, Raj would ask him. Anup's suspicion rose when, like every dad, Juhi's dad, Raj, also did a background verification on the actor before giving his approval. Anup opened up about his thoughts and said:

"Shayad unhone mere baare mein bahut kuch pata kiya tha, aisa meri feeling hai. Maine kabhi pucha nahi unse. I think so, I have a feeling. Unhone, see I’m part of the industry and mujhe aisa lagta hai agar unhone 10 logon se bhi pucha hoga toh usme se 80% logon ne acha hi bola tha toh shayad vo bhi kahi na kahi criteria tha unke dimaag mein ki ‘Chalo, jo mujhe lag raha hai aur jo log keh rahe hai thik hai."

Going ahead in the interview, Juhi shared that she had the nervous feeling making Anup meet Raj for the first time. She shared that she was 100% sceptical about the reaction of her father but had the confidence that the journey of the actor was self-made in the entertainment domain. Juhi had the belief that her dad, Raj, came from a lower middle-class upbringing and had worked hard to make his name in the industry; he would understand the struggles of Anup.

Juhi and Anup have had a strong bond of togetherness. In the interview, Juhi was asked about the quality she liked about her husband, and she said that she had made the correct decision to marry the actor. This was because he respected her family, which involved not just her parents but also her other relatives. She also expressed her love for the way Anup respected her entire family, which included not just her parents but also her extended relatives. Juhi put great emphasis on the fact that Anup seamlessly blended into her family and gave a lot of respect to the same, which meant a lot.
