Anurag Dhobhal's Manager Breaks Silence On His Crash, Wife's Anti-Dowry Case, 'Ritika Is 8 Months..'

Anurag Dobhal has been in the hospital since March 8, 2026, after he crashed his car. The incident followed the UK07 Rider sharing a video in which he said he had been abandoned by his parents and wife. For the unversed, Anurag was driving at 160 km/hr when he crashed his car during an Instagram Live on Saturday. Over 80,000 people saw the live and were left shocked by the incident, and have since been praying for his well-being. However, some have also taken a hurtful jab at the social media star's mental health. Now, in a conversation with SCREEN, Anurag's manager, Rohit Panday, has clarified these reports.

Anurag's family had posted an advertisement in a local newspaper stating that they had disowned Anurag and his wife, Ritika. However, it seems like it all happened last year. According to Rohit, he has no idea who is circulating the news now, but it has been a while since it happened. He further revealed that Anurag would "throw tantrums" to get his family to agree to his marriage to Ritika, but they never did. He added:

"They did this because Anurag had purchased property worth Rs 2.5 crores in his mother’s name. I liquidated those funds. About 3-4 months after that, all of this happened. So it’s not like this has happened after the accident. We don’t want to ruin things with anybody; we are trying to reconcile the family. Only Anurag’s sanity matters to us. It has been 8 months since this advertisement was published, and someone is circulating this now; it’s very wrong."

Talking about the deteriorating relationship between Anurag and his family, Rohit shared that after Anurag got married, Ritika was not allowed to enter his family home, so they had to return to their wedding venue. He revealed that they thought things would change with time, but things only got worse, and the couple had to move to Manali. While Rohit didn't give any details of the rift, he added:

"The family didn’t agree; they would rather tell him that they would disown him. Initially, he thought they were joking, but they went ahead and put the advertisement stating this. After they put out this advertisement, both Ritika and Anurag filed a dowry case against them, in which it was stated what the family had done to them. The family initiated all of it, not them. Anurag was trying to get back with his family, but they chose to break all ties. We filed the dowry case in retaliation and took Ritika Bhabhi’s permission to do so."

Rohit also made a surprising revelation during his chat. He revealed that Ritika is eight months pregnant and with him. He admitted that the rider's family is not answering their calls. However, Ritika has been there since Anurag was admitted. He also commented on the celebrities coming forward to show their support and asked where they were when Anurag was struggling. He stated:

"Anurag’s wife is 8 months pregnant and with him. Ritika bhabhi rushed to the hospital at 6 in the morning. Anurag was admitted. She has been there, despite her health, but she is still receiving hate. I have been Anurag’s manager since Bigg Boss. I have been handling his mental health for eight months, and I know what he was going through. He doesn’t care about getting views. Manaara was genuinely concerned; she called me and has been taking updates. Elvish Yadav is genuinely supporting UK Rider; he offered to come and meet Anurag once he gets a little better."

In the same conversation, Rohit shared that before going into surgery on the night of March 9, 2026, Anurag had told Rohit that he was all he had because others would show up for fame. He also commented that people were painting Ritika in a bad light without understanding the severity of her situation. Rohit asserted that his priority at the moment was to help Anurag, take care of his "hospital bill, talking to doctors, as well as managing the crowd." 

Rohit also asked the fans to consider why Anurag would do such a thing for the sake of views, and why he would wait for 8 months to take such a drastic step. The manager added that he is not sure if Anurag will make a comeback. He concluded that if UK07 Rider wanted viewers, he had offers from several shows, including Rise and Fall, The 50, but he refused them. He also called out people for making fun of Anurag Dobhal's mental health.
