Anurag Dobhal's Family Was Threatened After His Suicide Attempt, 'People Gathered Outside..'

Popular YouTuber, Anurag Dobhal, is leading the headlines after he levied serious accusations against his parents for torturing him. The YouTuber live-streamed an Instagram video and showcased his attempt to end his life. He tried to crash his car on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway and was first admitted to Meerut's Subharti Hospital.

Anurag Dobhal’s brother revealed his family was threatened after the YouTuber’s allegations

Amid the fiasco, Anurag Dobhal’s brother, Kalam, took to his IG handle and posted a video in which he spoke about Anurag’s allegations and revealed how it affected his family. Kalam shared that after Anurag’s serious accusations, people gathered outside their home and started threatening the family. In his words:

“You (Anurag) have eight million followers and you said on live that if you die, my parents, my brother and his wife would be responsible. Do you know how many people gathered outside our house after that? People are threatening to burn us alive if they see us outside."

Anurag Dobhal’s brother questioned his suicide attempt

In his Instagram video, Kalam questioned Anurag’s suicide attempt. He criticised him for doing such an act, which altered the public’s perception. He also questioned him for lying while attempting suicide and going through with it. Kalam also pointed out the possibility of harming his parents and then claiming sympathy for doing it. He urged the authorities to conduct a proper investigation into Anurag’s allegations.

Anurag Dobhal's brother claimed that the YouTuber had hit his wife, Ritika 

In one of his Instagram broadcast messages, Anurag's brother, Kalam, revealed the shocking truth about the Bigg Boss 17 contestant. Kalam stated that Anurag was lying about his situation and that their family was harassing him. He added that Anurag had even raised his hand to his wife, Ritika, and claimed she had left him because of his antics. Kalam shared a WhatsApp screenshot of Anurag's message with his close friend, wherein the YouTuber claimed that he hit his wife as she was poking him.

On March 5, 2026, Anurag Dobhal shared a disturbing video on his YouTube channel, tagging it as his "The last message". In the video, Anurag was seen breaking down several times, saying he was tired of trying and had no hope left. In the video, he accused his parents, sister and wife of torturing him to the level that he gave up.

Anurag Dobhal revealed attempting suicide days before his wedding to Ritika

In his long video, Anurag also revealed that his own parents decided not to attend his wedding. He tried everything to persuade his parents, but they were adamant. As a result, he even tried to kill himself. Speaking about his ordeal at that time, Anurag shared:

“I was made to fold my hands and beg, made to touch their feet. I was forced to apologise in front of all the relatives. Dad and Mum tortured me to the extent that they said, ‘We will neither stay happy ourselves nor let you stay happy."
